Good product
My 3yr old is excited to use his new urinal. This product is easy to assemble. The urinal can be raised and lowered. The flush button makes good use for cleaning purposes.

Good for the price
I bought this for my reluctant potty-trainer, and he's used it once and tried to go in it several times, but the real blessing has been his 6-year-old brother using it. I have one bathroom, and one very messy boy who never lifts the toilet seat. This has saved me from having to clean my toilet seat constantly or face unwelcome surprises. I do have to check the collection reservoir a lot, though, because my older son does "go" a lot, as big boys will. The flushing mechanism works well and is a necessary part - it saves a lot of time you may spend scrubbing and rinsing a traditional training potty. Plus, the pee collects in a part of the potty the child doesn't have easy access to, unlike a trainer potty that they can pee in, then stand up and step in or put on their head when your back is turned for a second (I speak from experience). Makes it much more sanitary. The only problems I've encountered are my kids flushing it constantly (mostly when it was new), simultaneously filling the collection reservoir and draining the water and therefore creating two jobs for me to repeat every five minutes, the fact that my three-year-old still can't quite get it that he can't sit on it and do #2, and the fact that it's just a little off-balance, so unless you wall-mount it or lean it up against a wall, you could have an icky mess. Luckily, ours has only fallen over when filled with water.

Would buy again.
My son loved it right away. Heโs been not wanting to sit down to pee and is getting pee everywhere. So I bought him this and put some training pads underneath. Itโs been 24 hours no accidents. Great decision.

Overall concept is great.
Overall concept is great for potty training. But this urinal lacks structural balance. The water tank on top does not secure and a curious toddler is quick to remove it and spill all the water. The water delivery system lacks quality to sensure leaks. Unfortunately it was not a fit for our household and the defective unit we received was returned and refunded.

My Son never misses!!!!
Tip of the day for moms with little boys: Buy a urinal! I prefer this Peter Potty one. My two year old has been using this since he was 1. He never misses and you don't have to hug toilets to clean later. No wall sprays! No mess anywhere! It stays clean with each flush if you add a simple water cleaner solution. I wish I had this with the other two. Plus it's so simple to teach them. Just stand them in front and tell them to go. It's like hitting a tree for them outdoors and he feels like the big boys. It depends on your kid if they flush all the water out. Mine flushes twice. It's his reward for going so I don't mine if he flushes it more than twice. It holds a lot of water and the green container is huge enough to support all the flushes and uses. I prefer the stand because we may move it from one bathroom to another depending if we are on onside of the house more. The height adjustment is perfect for when he grows. I love this especially the curved out feature so no stress on their aim. He never misses. Search FB for my video review as well. I'm buying these now as gifts.

AWESOME!
I was dreading training my twin boys. I didn't want to lock myself in my house for weeks on end attempting to get them to use the potty because they need to be trained before nursery school starts in September. Not wanting to push the idea of training I had my mom buy a peter potty for them for their birthday. We set it up, let them play with the "flusher" and just let it be in sight. I even move it outside when we're playing so it's available. One day, out of the blue they had swimmers on and my one son was like "I have to pee"..and he stood in front of the peter potty for 15 minutes and did nothing. (Then proceeded to pee in the swimmer) this went on for a few days (him standing and doing nothing) and then all of a sudden it clicked! That was 2 weeks ago and we have been diaper free since. I don't even use pullups when we go out! The Peter potty was the best $40 spent on their birthday! I LOVE IT and I highly recommend it for anyone thinking of trainng boys. Potty training 2 boys at the same time was SO EASY--I couldn' t be more excited about it.

Convenient and easy to use
I purchased this urinal for my 3-year old who had begun potty training when he was about 2 and a half, but was still too short to stand at the toilet. The main reason I had bought this was because he could use the toilet, but we were still struggling to get him to take the initiative and I had read many reviewers saying that this urinal immediately captured the interest of their younger toddlers. Now, a couple of months later, my son has only used the urinal about 3 times, but is mainly in dry underwear all day. He still prefers to sit on the toilet for both pee and poo, since that was how he was originally taught. This is a good product for parents to buy when their son first takes an interest in potty training, so that they can be taught standing up. I also anticipate that as he gets older and more independent in using the bathroom, he should develop more of an interest in standing and this product would then be more useful. The height adjustment is more limited than what I had expected. Even though the urinal is set for his height and he is still not tall enough to stand at the toilet, it can probably only be raised another inch or two. It does not take up much space and is very easy to refill and empty. The few times that he has used it has been very convenient.
