I have not tried hanging the organizer as to me that appears to be weakest point of most objects. It is a considerable weight when it's fully packed. I just unroll it on the counter beside me and easily remove the items when needed. The seams are strong and the material has not sagged under the weight or while in use. It appears to be a durable product. I've used the kitchen organizer for about six months and I think it is brilliant. It keeps everything clean and in order. Just what I needed for camping. Finally, when my camping trip is over, I just grab it by the handle and go. I don't have to clean out drawers or cupboards full of plants and utensils.
