lips seals or o-rings on the piston ??
cylinder conforms to international standards like CETOP or others, so dimensions can be trusted. Heads are cast aluminum which places it in a NON heavy duty category. For the application I had i seems to work well.The added cushioning was an unexpected surprise and is a strong feature to ordering again. I would like to see an internal drawing of the type of piston seals it employs. lip are better than o=ring. Works perfectly
Used it in a halloween prop where I needed to lift a 12 pound prop with a direct vertical action (no levers) fast enough to scare people. I first tried a cylinder with 1/4 ports and it was sluggish and wobbly, but this one with the 3/8 ports snapped right up, no problem. Scare I mounted it using their recommended mounting base.
