We bought these to match some paintable outlet covers. Consistency is key to good design. We had several old phone jacks to make disappear and these did the trick. They come pre-primed and ready to be painted. One good coat of our white paint did the trick and they fade right into the background on the wall. Buy them!

My house came with electrical boxes installed in the exterior walls for security cameras. The boxes are cemented into the brick and not going anywhere, so I just needed a cover plate sturdy enough to hold the cameras - and these were perfect. I drilled three holes for the camera screws (bolts/nuts in my case) and one large hole in the middle for the wires, bolted the camera to the plate then screwed the plate onto the electrical box and edged with silicone.The fact that the plates are oversized is a bonus and looks good.

(+): Oversized, metal, very nicely painted, looks much more expensive than it is.(-): Included screws are a joke. They were stripped out of the packaging.Overall, the plate is extremely nice and looks very professional. Kind of hard to describe a wall plate as professional, but maybe 'commercial' looking is better. Great for the garage, attic, kitchen or wherever you need to cover an outlet with a plate that won't crack or warp.

These wall plates are of great quality and look amazing. They really add the final touch to a room. Also as a added benefit, due to the size and quality, no one has expected any hidden audio or visual devices to be lurking behind. Which I can tell you is always a PLUS!

These are good quality metal wall plates. I drilled holes in these to mate them to the mounting brackets for my Leviton Architectural Wall Mount Speakers. I didn't trust the standard plastic wall plates to support the weight of the speakers and these were at least $10 per wall platelets expensive than the special speaker mount plates that are available.

This is oversized, larger that a normal wallplate which was exactly what I was looking for. The finish is very nice, well done. Covers the paint, mud ridge around the 60 year electrical box hole and made it look great. Beats scraping and repainting that one spot.

Used to cover a coax/phone line plate in the nursery, so the little one can't bump his head on the old coaxial nub. This covers nicely, and has smooth rounded edges. Dimensions as advertised!

came quickly in the mail. covers a plug right by baby crib great - preferred this over simple outlet covers in case kiddo gets too smart for the covers lol. heavy metal construction - super sturdy.
