We were first time harness users as we liked the simplicity of a leash, but were sick of dragging around a rasping puppy pulling on his collar. This is super streamlined and does the trick at dispersing the weight more gently around his torso. BUT... it gets tangled very quickly. This seems like a silly complaint, but it means that one of the straps is always twisted—while this doesn't SEEM to bother our dog, it does bother anyone with even slight OCD-tendencies. Just a warning.

The product seems excellent- just as described. However, I would have liked fitting instructions with the harness rather than having to go online and watch a video (having first had to work out which one)! It might be good to assume that customers can read and follow instructions and not all areas have reliable Wi-Fi at all times.

For Mini Dachshund this is 3" too large for circumfrance. I suggest you order a Size Small. All over good value and will last and not tear like the other halters that have a wide band material collar shaped in a triangle. The Pawfits is a safer design because the piping for reflective material on the other brand will tend to tear afer wear and get caught on twigs as they run.

I got it for my cocker spaniel pup. It is fiddly to put on and you do need to make sure it is snug. But it gives great freedom of movement for the dog and really good control for the handler.Unfortunately, we let it get a bit loose, and she chewed it during a moment of boredom in the car (just because she could reach it). However, I've been so impressed with it, that I've bought another to replace it. and this time will pay more attention to not leaving any loose bits for her to get her teeth intoShe's a black cocker. The red Pawtitas puppy collar and this in (matching) red look absolutely stunning on her together.

Excellent fit for my pomeranian pup

After trying several different Velcro and clip type harnesses for my new pup and him growing out of them within weeks, I decided to get an adjustable one to save buying more and more as he grows up.I like the 'vest' type harnesses as they don't chafe the pup's legs or move about but they are limited as to size and fitting. Basically they are just static so once the pup grows out of them, they are useless. That's where this type comes in. Ok, so they can chafe an active pup under the forelegs but as this particular one is going to be for use over a dog jumper, I won't have that problem.This one is a jolly, happy, striped one - ideal for a cute puppy and as the size-altering buckle is currently only half way round the strap there'll be a fair bit to go at before he's outgrown it.It's well made and strong with a lovely logo on the side which is also a good way of telling you which way it needs to go on the dog as the neck and belly straps are often different lengths and putting it on the wrong way usually ends in strangulation!I'm very pleased with this harness and although I think it's a bit expensive for the size, it should be a good six months before he finally outgrows it - finger's crossed!
