When I got this camera the mounting was easy and it came with everything. However, when I first plugged it in there were no lights and no sound from it. I tried different plugs and different blocks, still nothing. But when I contacted customer service they were amazing and responded very quickly. After a little troubleshooting it was determined I needed a new camera. The new camera arrived the very next day!! While setting up the new camera I managed to get the other one working and they were so very understanding and a return was discussed. The customer service alone deserves 5 stars!Now to how I like the actual camera:The camera works really good, great alerts, great night vision with and without the spotlight feature! I like the vimtag app. It's simple and pretty easy to use if your able to use an android you can easily navigate this app. IDK how it works on an iphone lol. I have mine mounted outside my office door and it was great to have at 11 pm last night when someone was on my lot. I would definitely recommend giving this camera a try.

This is a good little unit. The picture is crystal clear. The setup was not as easy as I thought it would be. But, while having problems with the setup, it suddenly completed the setup without me....kind of. But now, it is doing it's job well. Good color and good night vision, although I have turned the mode day-time, I will have to see tonight if the unit picks up on what I am viewing in the parking lot. We have a lot of light in the parking lot, so I would expect the unit to really perform well....if not, then I will turn it back to automatic. The unit does have a difficult time with 2.4Hz, and will cut out at times. The router is about 10 feet from the unit....so why it cuts out, I don't know. But, all in all, it is a good unit.

This cam works great. The first one I received was acting a bit odd. I contacted customer support and they responded very fast. We went through troubleshooting and when that didn't resolve the minor problem they promptly sent me a replacement. Customer service is top notch!When i got my replacement unit everything worked great. It has a good picture, the App is easy to use and there is multiple options depending on how you like to have your cam setup such as event recording or continuous recording along with whether the night light is always on or just when it seer's motion. I like the option to record to an SD card or the cloud or both. Overall I could not be happier with this product.

This would be a fantastic camera if it would integrate with my Blu Iris security camera software. It has a setting for ONVIF, which I enabled. However, it will only connect for a few seconds. Some research indicates that the RTSP URL changes constantly, which I verified when trying to connect it to the camera software. Otherwise, for the price it's amazing. I mounted it on a pole 50 feet from my house and it is working great through the app. I made sure my 2.4g wifi reached there first... The PTZ and zoom work great and the picture is crisp. If this worked with Blue Iris I would buy more.EDIT: Updated from 3 to 5 stars. Vimtag read my review and offered me a full refund. They wrote me a respectful message and apologized for the issue. They do not currently have a timeline for changing anything concerning security software integration. Fair enough and appreciate the honesty. I declined the refund. For the price it's a fine piece of hardware. I would consider their cameras in the future if they offer full ONVIF compatibility.

After wading through the technology(thanks to my wife)this does a good job. I’m a little impatient and it takes a minute to spin and reset after viewing footage. The connection is good and hasn’t dropped. We have two and are pleased. It’s not affected by wind but will tell on wasps if set to pet mode.Two weeks later:for some reason it quit alerts for cars. It will record them but no alert. We can’t figure it out. We’ve tried everything.Three weeks later and this could/should be better. It’s slow and if I set it to motion only alerts everything. Even shadows. It will alert cars and everything else. Not worth the hassle. So it’s back to AI motion.

Really impressed with these cameras based on price, ease of setup, resolution, usability. I've owned some version of a security camera for the last 20 years and this one works really well. I love the ease of setup, pan function, alert notification and picture clarity. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is sound is sketchy and playback can be cumbersome. But overall a great camera for security and would purchase again
