That is fine, more than fine, comfortable, on the flat, but walking down a steep slope my toes are bouncing off the toe-cap. I tightened the laces and that helped - I can feel the tightness across the top of my foot - but to no avail. This may simply be a factor of having soft canvas boots as opposed to my normal leather boots.
