My wife rolled her eyes when I told her that I purchased this. We have two bathrooms, and there is one off of the bedroom that I use most often. So she asked which bathroom I was going to put it in. When I said, "Mine", she walked away shaking her head.I guess I can understand. A lighted toilet bowl? Something that a man would want to get silly with.I received the Motion Detected Dream Enhancing Brilliant Bathroom Decorative Accessory yesterday -- and it seemed, well kind of dinky. I scrounged up my last three triple A batteries, stuck them in, and immediately a red light at the end of the flexible arm that fits over the side of the toilet bowl glowed. Hmmm.Red seemed a bit garish. So I found the button on the front of the device and pushed it. Nothing happened, and the button did seem a little fragile. My choices were to consult the directions, or to keep punching the button to make something happen. Of course, I kept punching the button. Then the glowing red light was replaced with a glowing yellow light.This wouldn't do at all -- a yellow glow in my toilet bowl. No sir. So I punched some more than the yellow light turned green. Not bad.Now I understand, but cannot verify, that I have fifteen glowing color choices. So now I was faced with another decision -- keep the green which was pretty cool, or keep jabbing at the button to see other colors and probably screw the whole thing up which would mean that I would have to study the little paper with directions on them. Green is not bad. I left well enough alone.I spent fourteen seconds installing the thing on the toilet blow -- which means I bent the adjustable arm to fit over the edge of the toilet bowl.This was around noon. It just sat there contented on keeping watch on my toilet bowl. Not doing anythingSo I had to wait until the evening, when it was dark. I sneaked into the bathroom to catch the light thingie unaware, and sure enough the motion sensor caught me and the green light came on, and it reflected off the white of the toilet bowl with a pleasant glow. I thought it was cool. My wife has no opinion since she has yet to witness the phenomenon. Maybe I will tell her that it automatically cleans toilet bowls too.... just to amp up her enthusiasm a little bit.So I am happy with my green glowing toilet bowl. It only comes on during the dark, and when I try to sneak up on the thing. It is supposed to have fifteen colors, but I haven't tested that thesis. I am tempted to buy one of these for every male in the family for Christmas.
