Did the job
Old sensor was completely frozen. The location was so tight a deep type o2 socket wouldnt fit. This fit well, but even with a breaker bar and extension the sensor did not budge. I then heated with a propane torch, still no joy. Finally I heated it to ‘just barely’ red hot with oxy acetylene torch and it came loose easily.

Worked like a charm on my 2002 Civic.
I used this tool to remove (and later install) the two O2 sensors in my 2002 Civic in the process of replacing the failing catalytic converter. The tool worked just fine, though it took the torque wrench and about 40 ft-lbs of torque to "break" the sensor free. Considering that my spark plugs are installed at 28 ft-lbs, putting this amount of torque on the O2 sensor was scary to say the least... But it worked. FYI, it is impossible to remove the lower O2 sensor from an "original" Honda catalytic converter without this tool because this sensor is in a "recess" which cannot be accessed by a 22mm wrench. This is a very good tool and a a very good price compared to what Autozone wanted.

Incredible
At first I was very much on the fence. I was worried that it might separate when force was applied but it worked great.I’ve always used wrenches in the past and have had to worst luck with removing oxygen sensors. With this tool I was able to remove the sensor in 2 mins. The tool is 22mm and fits both upstream and downstream o2 sensors on 1999 Honda Civic Si (EM1)Last note- 3/8 drive is perfect. 1/2 drive would be to large for small spaces under the car. 3/8 drive was enough to break the sensor loose pretty quickly without too much force.Buy this.

Great Tool at the Right Price
This socket will really help alleviate some of the headaches encountered when trying to remove a stubborn oxygen sensor. I had an OEM 02 sensor start to fail at 139,000 miles and this socket made removal and installation of the new sensor a snap. You can achieve similar results with a box end wrench, but you need to cut the sensor wires to get the box end over the nut. This socket lets you slide the wires right in and not destroy anything in the process. It will work great for both the upper and lower 02 sensors, especially if you have a swivel head ratchet.

Great for tight spots!
I bought this because my deep socket O2 sensor wrench did not fit to remove the sensor on the 2019 Subaru WRX STi. This is tool is really nice because it is low profile and allows you to attach 3/8th extensions to it to remove the sensor. I highly recommend this in any toolbox.
