Quality exceeds price! Beautiful!
Here goes my first Amazon review through my husband's prime account... It takes a lot for me to take the time to review a product and this one I just had to. I always take these reviews with a grain of assault because before anything they are first and foremost subjective! What I consider awesome quality may vary from what you may consider awesome... So keeping that in mind, here we go...1. Overall quality to price analysis = 95% (I never go for 100% because I believe there is always room to improve) :)2. Design = even better in person; NOTE: I was concerned about that RED elastic that doesn't seem to go with the cram and gold theme of the notebook, but it's actually dark red and it doesn't feel like a distraction against the light cream color of the notebook and the golden dots. It actually accentuates the look of the cover... Highly subjective, but that's how I feel...3. Binding of the pages, elastic and bookmarks = excellent (the elastic doesn't feel cheap and loose like on some of the notebooks I have tried (and I have tried... let's say a lot!...). I have done extensive trial and error in my quest for the perfect bullet journal notebook! For me, Leuchtturm 1917 is ok, but I always feel like it's missing something...4. The pages = oh, the pages... the paper is smooth and not too thick (100gsm). There were some reviews saying it wasn't thick enough, but as for me, I don't like thick paper for journaling... I actually like Tomoe River paper, but it's not widely available in A5 notebooks to my liking... This notebook paper feels just a little bit thicker than the 70gsm Leuchtturm 1917 paper, but not too thick. I actually enjoy a little bit of ghosting on my pages... You may not... Haven't put a pen on this paper yet, but I do anticipate some ghosting. I believe if you don't want any ghosting you should go for 120gsm or thicker and make sure the paper is not white! The color of the pages is also light cream, but not too yellow... I absolutely dislike Rhodia notebooks yellow pages... You may prefer them...5. Page grid and numbers = the dot grid is just as in the pictures, the dots are not too big or faded or going off the page. They are just perfect. The numbers are great, too! They are not overwhelming the page or too small as to make it hard to see them.6. The content/index pages at the front = this is the only area I do not like and I think it needs re-thinking of the design. It seems just put on there so it's available as a feature. I hope they change that and I hope they accommodate a couple of extra pages for this purpose or change the lines so more items can fit on the pages. Or simply just title the pages: Content or Index and leave them alone so we decide how we want the Index to look like... I will actually re-purpose these pages somehow and just create my own index pages.7. The pocket on the inside of the back cover = it's ok, and it was the only part that I thought was not to perfection as it was glued a bit off center... It's not a big deal as it could have been just an isolated mistake... For such a great notebook I would like to see them be a little more creative with this... Maybe make the opening from the top or have it open like an envelope or something... Again, highly subjective matter and definitely not a deal breaker...I hope this is helpful to some of you not sure whether you want to buy or pass by... :)

Great Quality and Style!
I bought this journal did my seventeen-year-niece, and she loved it so much that she wanted to abandon her current journal and start on this one right way. The cover is gorgeous, and the pages are thick. Great size — neither too small nor too large. I might buy one for myself. I am a paper-and-pen aficionado, and this is truly an exceptional journal for the price.

Very nice looking journal, but pages aren’t for marker or heavy pens
It’s a nice looking, understated journal with a back envelop, 2 page marker ribbons, and rubberband. The layout is nice, and pages are all numbered. The pages are kinda cream colored, not white, which I prefer. The Cons: The paperweight is a little thin. Any Sharpie is definitely seen thru the other side. I use washi paper to decoratively hide it in the few places I used it. My other pens I usually use- a Precise V7 and Pilot G2 07 also bleed a bit. My Pilot G2 05 does not.Because of the bleed, I use colored pencils only instead of the light shade markers I bought. They work well too so I guess it’s ok.

Only for drier Fountain Pens, but paper is smooth and pleasing.
The 100 GSM Paper is adequate but not great for fountain pens. If you have a wet or heavy pen you'll not be happy. The Gusset on the back pocket is paper and was already coming apart when I opened the package, nothing a little CA glue could not fix, but for the price... The rest of the construction did seem fine. The Dot Grid is very light. That is not a criticism just a statement. If you want more contrast, look elsewhere. My vision stinks, and I think it is suitable.

What a Great Dotted Notebook!
This is a really great notebook. I love the dotted pages since I generally have to put images and tables into my notes and this makes it easy. It has a very sturdy cover, lays flat when opened and the paper is perfect for my use (I use an eraser occasionally). I realize that it's just a notebook but it's an important part of my thought process when working on a new software project. I becomes part of the project and my daily reminder of where I was when I took a break. Oh, and did I mention, I like the feel of the paper. Just right.

Great Choice for Bullet Journaling
I looked at a lot of different products to start my bullet Journaling and I'm happy I chose this one. The leather-like cover is nice and soft and the gold dots are pretty and metallic. I wish it had a pen holder but I can live without one. The dot grid is just dark enough to be a nice guide but not too dark that they take away from what is written on the page. Ghosting is minimal, though you will get a good amount from being heavy-handed or using permanent marker. That's to be expected. The pages are numbered and there's an index section at the beginning of the notebook which is so helpful!

Great little journal
Numbered pages are a big plus in this journal.I like to jot down notes and remember what page number I put them on.It's a great journal. Small enough to take with you in your backpack.

almost perfect.... if only the paper was thicker
If only the pages weren’t too thin..... I could see through the paper so I often couldn’t write back to back till I got lighter pens...
