I used these socks during a Spartan Sprint and they did not disappoint! They were very comfortable, great quality, great compression and stayed in place for the whole race. They come up to just under my knee. They were difficult to put on, but I would expect that with good compression socks. I would highly recommend these socks!

I bought these compression socks in preparation for running a Spartan Beast race. I wasn’t sure about the compression aspect, but I did want some breathable socks that would provide a degree of protection for my legs on the rope climb and Tyrolean traverse obstacles. I wore these socks on some gnarly and steep trail runs prior to the race and was pleased with the breathability and cushioning these socks provided. I also noticed some amount of reduced muscle fatigue, especially on steep descents. But that could all be in my head. On race day, these socks were great for providing a layer of protection for my ankles and shins and I will definitely plan to wear them for future events. They are hard to get on and off but that’s to be expected with the amount of compression.

I bought these socks for support to my calves after knee surgury. I experienced swelling with concurrent calf pain along with injury on rocks in muddy, rocky, tough terrain. The socks gave me all day support on the trail, protected my shins on slips and falls in 93 degree weather. I stayed cool, comfortable and dry. I did experience a hot spot on the ball of one foot. I normally don’t experience blisters or hotspots with thicker wool blend socks. I added a few strips of leukotape on vulnerable areas and no issues since. The socks are also great for recovery and if you follow cleaning instructions, they hold up well.

I bought these on the recommendation from a Pro Spartan athlete that recommended them for ocr racing. I used these on a couple of short distance runs and they helped my legs not tire out as easily. But the real durability and capabilities of these socks came through for me during my Spartan Super Race in Chino this past weekend. It was a muddy race and these socks held up through all 8 miles and saved my legs from wanting to give out. Though my shoes and feet were in various stages of mud, water and trails, these socks stood up and on through the entire race. In water, these socks didn't feel super heavy like they soaked up tons of rocks and water! And they’re ready for more runs and races!
