THERABAND Resistance Band Loop Set of 3, Exercise, 18", Black/Silver/Gold

I really love the resistance bands I used during my physical therapy. They are practical and safe, as they provide gentle resistance that helps with joint healing. I specifically use them for my legs and ankles due to an injury, and I have found them to be very effective in engaging the muscles and joints while strengthening the affected areas. The exercises have strengthened my joints and surrounding tissues, giving me hope for recovery and motivating me to continue my progress. These bands support my healing process to help me regain full function safely.

I bought these at the recommendation of my physical therapist. They work well. I use several times a week.

Great product. Allows me to do anaerobic exercises in my own home.

These are way too stretchy for working out. They’re sheer and even the most resistant isn’t enough for a workout. They all feel similar as well. I tried pairing them up and even stacking the three most resistant, but they tend to roll up (or down) and tangle into one folded up band, they then start to dig into my legs. I’m active but not the most active or fit person, so I thought these would be a good start for me. I think these could be used for those who are recovering from injuries or need an intro to bands, but even then I wouldn’t really suggest them because they tend to roll around and shift if you stretch them anymore than 50% their length. * Rereading the description I now see that they are for rehabilitation and not working out. I should have been more careful reading and the item name and description should be more explicit. Readjusting from 3 to 4 stars.

When I was doing PT after 4 joint replacement, the local branch location of the famed Kennedy Brothers ( of Boston, MA) had me use thick meaty resistance bands to aid in rehabbing each limb. This year, found me needing to embark on a new PT journey. From the description & ratings this set sounded promising so I bought it. These resistance bands unfortunately are a total waste of money. Each band is so thin, flimsy, to the degree they were totally ineffectual. When I’d place a heel in a band the rest of the band folded like a crushed piece of tissue paper, dropping my heel to the floor! Now that’s what I consider junk quality. Super lightweight stretch material with zero resistance power. The collapsing bands are frustrating to use.

So the resistance is wrong. It is listed as yellow being the lightest, and red being the next lightest, and that is switched. The red is the lightest. My physical therapist uses these same bands and hers are correct, and it makes it even more obvious that mine are not. Secondly, with one month of regular use, the yellow band snapped.

UPDATE: I waited a week and re-ordered this 3 pack and all bands included were 18". So I changed the stars to 5. These are great bands, but the 3 star is because we ordered the 3 pack 18" and found that the black band was only 12". We have returned them but now wonder if we re-order, will the length of each band be correct.

Great bands and convenient to use.

I received this set of resistance bands today… Unfortunately, I deeply regret choosing this company. The bands are not at all as described in the advertisement. They are simply loose bands, which was a shock; I can't perform the exercises without connecting the ends. Also, they are completely inaccurate in terms of size; they are much, much, much too big.
