Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain - Jacobean Walnut - 2.5L

Bought this for Dad, he has used it on his home for as long as he can remember. Lovely finish, last in full sun very well, better than the wood itself nowadays. Very handy way of helping out Pops having it delivered to him in days.

Great product, paints well, and gives good coverage, brings a shine to older windows, it makes them look new again. No issues, and it do what it says on the tin.

I would definaty use the Classic Basecoat first to soak into the wood, this Extra is more a Uv and Weather Protection Surface Coating. My advise is purchase a Mixing Paddle and Give it a Wizz with your power Drill, otherwise the Pigments settle and the Dark Liqid sits at the top of the Tin so your first few Planks are Darker, and you get Lighter as you progress. I used a 4 inch paint brush / 5ltr Paint Scuttle / prodec 7 inch Angled Deck Brush with Extension Pole, and a cheap Blue Plastic tarpaulin for the splashes and Drips. You have to work quickly, you may notice dark and Lighter patches as you go? At the end I very lightly used the tip of the Bristles (with out paint) and whizzed over the side of the shed, so everything Blends and looked the same colour. As it dries out it changes into a Unformation Shade. If you go back to Dob a bit, you will create a Patch that looks Lighter in Colour so you have to wizz over the surface as previously described without paint.
