Our doxie gets periodic ear infection and we just could not figure out why. Our vet wanted us to wash her ears once or twice a week but we have had several problems with this. It seems many washes have strong things in them that hurt or sting her ears and she hates when we put them in. So in the past we felt bad about putting in washes that hurt her so we would slowly stop doing this and then she would get a serious infection. Then the medicines they give us usually make her deaf and well you get the gist. It is one horrible experience. She does have lots of allergies so all that does not help. But, since we started using the Vetericyn ear wash we have had great luck. We can use this twice a week and oh she shakes her head a little but it doesn't take long and she just goes about her business. And so far we have avoided (rap on wood) any serious ear infections since we started this regime. The other stuff we had used caused her to not only shake her head but crawl across the floor with her ear on the rug and go hide, etc. She does not do any of this with the Vetericyn so we are very happy and SHE is very happy as well. Wouldn't do without this stuff now !!!

I bought this for my 6 mo old Frenchie because for about a week I noticed him itching his ears. He'd cry while doing it because his nails were sharp, and it ended up cutting him :( poor little man. So I had his nails trimmed and bought this solution. It arrived the same day which was awesome, and seemed like immediate relief for my pup. I reccomend squeezing it onto a cotton ball then inserting into the ear. If you want to squeeze right into the ear make sure its room temp or your dog will most likely hate it because who wants cold liquid blasting into their ears? I did that once so hes scared of the solution now when I hold the bottle, but as soon as I put the cotton ball in his ear he LOVES IT. He just looks at me like "Thank you Momma". In the pictures attached its only from using the solution twice a day for 3 days. Got it on Sunday and the second picture is Tuesday. Definitely reccomnded and once the cuts are healed ill do it once a week or so to keep them clean!!!!!

I ordered this because my dog started having a head tilt and was rubbing his ear on the floor and making funny noises. He would make the same high pitched noise when we were lightly scratching his ear. I figured it was an ear infection and did some research for home remedies. I ordered this because it was most recommended on various trusted sites. Unfortunately his ear was starting get some drainage before this came in. We took him to the vet and she gave us a small bottle of this and said to just watch him. Within two days he was almost back to normal, just a bit of a head tilt and by the fourth day his tilt was gone.I am returning this bottle since we only used a small amount of what the vet gave us and don't think we will finish it anytime soon, even with weekly maintenance doses. They were very willing to have this item returned minus shipping.When we are ready for more we will defiantly order it here as the price is very good.

We used this gel for our pups ear infection because it is listed in research as being effective for GRAM NEGATIVE - infections. It has worked like a charm. When nothing else worked for her, I decided to do some research and found out that without a culture sample of her inner ear, we would not know whether the infection was gram positive or negative. You really need your vet to do a culture and guide you to using the right product for the infection. Gram positive infections will FEED and get WORSE if you use the wrong cleaner. If this has happened to you, then you likely will see highly effective results with a complete recovery using this product! We love it, my house is never without this! Does not sting or burn, and is so non-evasive we can use it with homeopathic meds and still be safe! Thanks Vetericyn!

After running a rescue for 10 years and having goldens, Ive seen Alot of bad ears. When I couldn't find the ingredients to make my old faithful wash, I bought this. Vetericyns wound wash works well and had high hope for this too.First off the cleaner is made with bleach or a component of bleach which you smell after a washing. The ingredients leave the ears with a nasty residue from gunk inside the ear. It did work somewhat but after several days the ears just never cleared up. I thought the dog was going to the vet for sure. By the grace of God I was able to order my one missing ingredient from the pharmacy and I went back to my old ear wash which cleaned the ears up in a few days.Vetericyn is a good company and they make some awesome products. This just doesnt seem to be one of them.

Our GSD had an ear infection that flared up occasionally and would sadly drive her crazy for moments at a time. Using this rinse definitely helped clean out her ears. We didn't use it per the directions but used it when it was necessary and it helped bring her almost instant relief. Our vet put her on antibiotics and a medicated ear rinse but recommended we keep using this for those flare ups if/when they occur. It didn't interfere with the medicated rinse she had and helped very much between doses. We will probably get more in the future for any flare ups since the vet believes it could have been due to allergies.

This stuff is great. I clean their ears with a Q-tips(I know they don't recommend Q-tips- I am careful) with a little homemade mixture of monistat/real polysporin/Cortaid cream first. Then I soak a cottonball with the Vetericyn Plus put it their ear and lightly massage it to get the liquid deep inside the ear canal. Usually there is enough liquid on the cottonball to do both ears with our rewetting. Will need to do it a couple more time over a couple weeks. Then the ear funk usually goes away!
