I’ve been using this wireless Android Auto adapter in my 2022 Toyota Tacoma for a few weeks now, and it has honestly been one of my favorite car accessories. My truck only supports wired Android Auto from the factory, and constantly plugging in my phone was getting old fast. This adapter fixes that completely. Once it was set up, it automatically connects every single time I get in the truck. I start the engine, and within seconds Android Auto pops up on the screen without me touching my phone. No cables, no fiddling, no reconnecting. It has been extremely consistent so far. Setup was simple. I plugged it into the USB port, paired my phone once, and that was it. After the initial setup, it has just worked. Audio, navigation, and controls all behave the same as when I used a wired connection. I have not noticed any meaningful lag when using maps or switching apps. What I appreciate most is how seamless it feels. It turns wired only Android Auto into something that feels factory wireless. For daily driving, errands, and commuting, it makes the whole experience smoother. The only thing to keep in mind is that it relies on your phone’s wireless connection, so if your phone struggles with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi stability, that could matter. In my case, it has been rock solid. Overall, if you drive a Tacoma with wired only Android Auto and want true hands off convenience, this adapter is absolutely worth it. It does exactly what it claims to do, and it does it reliably.

Seamless - just as hoped. No more connecting my phone to a cable. I use it with an Alpine X903d head unit for a mk7 VW Golf. Once I'd changed the settings to auto start on both the head unit and in the Android Auto phone app, it just starts up with the car. Connection has been rock solid with no dropouts. Sound quality feels just a good as when the phone used the USB connection to connect to the Alpine headunit. Also, it's just as responsive. Of course, the phone now doesn't charge as it's no longer connected to the USB cable, but the Bluetooth connection to the AA Wireless TWO doesn't appear to drain the phone battery any more than you would expect with any Bluetooth connection. Highly recommended.
