Zoom APH-2n Accessory Pack for H2n Portable Recorder, Remote Control with Extension Cable, Foam Windscreen, USB AC Adapter, USB Cable, Adjustable Tripod Stand, Padded-Shell Case, and Mic Clip Adapter

I basically only bought this accessory pack for the carrying case it came with (which is great), and didn't really expect to use any of the other stuff inlcuded, but low and behold after only a week or so having my new h2n i have used nearly every item included! The little remote is very convenient, since the zoom is so sensitive to handling noise, it is a breeze to be able to just start, stop and pause (something you can't actually do with just the zoom) so that's been convenient, as has the little tripod, just because it's very small and portable. I had it set up on a little table recording a live band practice, and then i just pushed the legs together to use it as a handle for a some handheld work. While I've already got dozens of the USB mini-b cables laying around my house, this one is nice and long, and it's always good to have an extra one. I haven't used the AC adapter yet, but in the strange circumstance that the TWENTY HOUR battery life of your 2 double AAs has been used up and you don't have time to get some spares, it's always nice to know you can rely on AC power if needs be. During the same recording session of the band i used the included mic stand thing, and so that was useful. i also extended a mic stand out to it's full length and used it as a sort of make shift boom for filming a video last weekend. The windscreen... meh. It is just your basic foam cover. I haven't bought one yet, but everyone reccommends either a R0de dead cat cover or one of the REdhead ones. I haven't really used the zoom outside too much yet, but it's on my list of things to get. Either way, for 30 bucks, there is a pretty good variety of useful items in this pack.

The little tripod is useless, I have a million of those USB cables and the dock can be any other dock, BUT they are great additions to an already awesome deal. The windscreen won't hold up outside in heavy winds obviously, but for voice over AND with a pop filter, you can make your work sound incredible with such a nice little mic. I love that there are slots that take the design of the device into account.The handle they give is enough for a manly mans hand, but you won't have much more room from there, but it's still super useful for putting it on a shock mount. The controller and extension works well and is very useful. Best part about it all is the case which is built well and protects the mic.This is a must buy for owners of the mic.

great accessory kit, mic stands are very sturdy and never felt like I needed to worry about them not being such. Remote works great, very good for recording my D&D sessions so I can pause when we are getting snacks and whatnot.

There are multiple things to like... The case is very protective of the microphone, the remote is really nice to have because you hear all the rattling and rustling of pressing the record button ( I monitor the entire recording on headphones) unless you use one. The tiny stand is great for interviews and other recordings where there is a table involved... Webinars, podcasts etc. The power supply is an obvious benefit but only for studio type work the long record time on batteries means it isn't necessary most of the time. I use the H2 for video recording sound track backup. The quality of the H2 blows away the external powered Mike I used to run with the camera. The transfer cord is not an easy to find item and it makes using the H2 a lot more fun. If you have invested in the H2 you need this pack and is is cheap for the quality if what you get.

This is a great kit with many useful parts.The remote control (with extension) makes it easy to start/stop the recorder without adding the 'handling noise' when recording. Saves me time when editing multiple recordings.The wind screen doesn't kill all wind noise, but cuts it back substantially. A better screen or 'dead kitten' cover may be necessary in windy outdoor conditions, but light breeze and air noise from moving around indoors is cut.The case is great, but does not fit the unit well with the windscreen attached - carrying the windscreen around separately is a drag. It has a nice detachable carry strap, though, which is nice. I also wish there were an elastic pocket inside for holding an extra memory card or the remote.The mic stand piece is great for holding the recorder on a typical microphone stand, and can be used for simple holding of the recorder without touching it. (reduces handling noise a bit, too)The mini tripod is pretty cheap, and the legs cannot extend far enough to support the recorder if the ball head is angled very steeply. I think I can maybe get 10 or 15 degrees pitch in any given direction, but beyond that, the tripod will tip over. It comes in handy for vertical orientation now and then, but is largely useless otherwise.The power supply comes in handy, but most of us have these USB cables & adapters in spades at home already.Personally, I would rather have paid less and eliminated the tripod and USB cable + power adapter, but I've used them once-or-twice, so ... eh. The primary parts of this kit are great, though, so they make it worth the price.

Es un kit original, todo se siente de muy buena calidad y trae artículos básicos para una grabadora. Si bien es para la H2n yo lo usé en una H6 y funciona perfectamente con algunos detalles como que no ajusta el antipop pero era de esperarse ya que no es pensada para ese modelo.

A must have if you own the Zoom H2N mic.

The pictures show a US plug but the item I received had a UK plug on the voltage adapter. No good in Germany. I have connections to the UK so I kept it anyway. The rest of the package was OK.
