Works great but make sure you buy printer sheets.

Actual resolution is much lower than the advertising pictures - nothing instant about this camera, photos take an hour plus to fully develop and must be kept in the dark during that time, so no watching the image develop - photo setting requires a lot of light and flash is inadequate for most indoor settings.

That’s an amazing gift. Buy the films pack together with it to make the first photos right after unpacking. Maybe you will need a special bag for it, also quite handy to store it.
