Excellent! Can Withstand the Toughest Beast
My 67 lb 14-month-old hyper and destructive Airedale puppy did some damage to the back seat of my previous SUV, even under supervision and restraint; he goes into stealth mode sometimes. I knew I needed a durable protector for my new SUV to keep the back seat clean, keep him from eating the seat belts and floor mats, and scratching up the side panels. I purchased another, less expensive cover first, but he broke the strap that held the side panel up within 5 minutes. The Ruff Liner is very easy to install, easy to vacuum dirt when needed, sturdy, and the side panel moves with the door, not held on by a strap that needs to be unattached and reattached each time you access the back seat. Well worth the extra money to have the correct product right from the get-go. I was concerned that the plastic Velcro inserts to hold the side panel into your window base do not slide into the window base very far, but I have had no issue with them falling out even with my pup's rambunctious behavior and you can still roll down the window with no issues. I highly recommend this product.

Great quality and perfect fit!!
Great quality!! This fits my 2019 Ford Edge! Definitely recommend, worth the price!! The plastic pieces slip easily into the door between the windows and inside rubber window seal. You'll need to close the door partially to stick the velcro from the door cover to the velcro on the plastic window inserts. Once on, you can open and close the doors while it's attached, no need to undo to let the dogs in/out. Fully covers the door to lower than the back seat! Easy to install!!

This is the car/dog tool: wonderful product execution
I have a Jeep gladiator this thing fits almost perfectly. The only thing thatโs slightly off and I can fix it with a sewing machine is because itโs a little bit generic for any medium size truck. The door flaps are a little bit long for this particular truck but itโs not a problem. They just took Tuck away and itโs fine. Iโm impressed by the workmanship. I am very impressed by the design. The price is right and if I discovered this five years ago, my gladiator backseat wouldnโt have been as chewed up and crucified by the excited Border Collie on long road trips. The cloth detaches from the foam inside so you can take it off and wash it looks Like I donโt have anything negative to say itโs actually quite extraordinary. I must have for anybody with a bigger dog that gets excited when heโs driving in the car.

Great Protection
Nice and covers seat. See thru mesh is flimsy. A dog laying its head on it pulls it down while still zipped which then makes it saggy. The slides that slide in the door aren't really deep so they keep falling out of the windows. One of them snapped in half when it fell out of the window while I was driving an the dog layed on it leaving my new car door exposed. It's easy enough to install just a little tricky to get it tight around the base of the head rest. Also no padding so make sure you purchase something soft that goes across it! Especially if you have a large dog with big bones. I will say I wish the side door panels were just a little bit wider so it would fully cover the corner of the door. Also with the extra length it would help it not to pull out of the window when the door opens. Also while it says you can open and close your window I would not suggest it. When I open and try to close my windows yes my window went up and down but it pushed the door cover out which is when it also came out and snapped. If the windows slides were a little deeper it would probably help that issue. I normally keep mine installed as I seldom have any but my dog in the back. However since the boards are split into three it appears if I need space for only one person it should be easy to undo a section from the headrest and fold it over allowing room for a passenger without totally uninstalling it. The last pic you csn see how the mesh sags and also how well the beanies fit on the headrest to finish protecting the backseat. All 4 headrest are covered. Installed in a 25 Subaru Outback Touring. 4 stars because of the door cover slides and the flimsy mesh.

Bought a 2nd for our pickup too!
A life saver for me and my dogs! Brand new car - Lincoln Nautilus. Never had a luxury vehicle before, and I have 2 standard schnauzers, 45 lbs each of โWhere are we going? Thereโs a dog in that yard! โ busy-ness in the back seat. The Ruff Liner has saved the back seat from their nails (which are trimmed, but still), itโs tough! Itโs not slippery, and it does protect the doors when they get excited looking out the windows. After hiking the wet paws are not a problem, and quickly cleans up with a damp cloth, hair and dirt. Super easy to put in, take out, or fold over one side if just one extra seat is needed. Well worth the price!!!

Best Dog Car Seat Extender EVER!
Guys! I NEVER leave reviews but I could not wait to come inside to write this one. I have a 75 lb bernedoodle puppy who loves car rides and to be included in everything I do. I bought a new Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid earlier this year and have struggled to find a car seat extender I really like. I didnโt care to have one in my Jeep so this was the first time Iโve needed to buy something like this. I purchased two from Amazon back in Feb/Mar of this year. The quality on those were โmehโ at best. The challenge was that I wanted a long seat extender for long road trips but I also have captainโs chairs as my 2nd row now. So local rides were in a large bucket car seat extender instead of the whole row. But both prior car seat extenders slid when the dog jumped in and out of the car AND they didnโt protect my doors or windows. Fast forward to an Instagram post from a dogfluencer (hehe) last week and I was sold. I ordered it straight away even though it says this seat extender isnโt compatible for captainโs chairs. I wanted to try it out anyways. Now, I just installed it and OMG itโs so amazing. The quality is top notch. It has anchors so the seat wonโt go sliding every time my dog jumps in and out. It easily fits my captainโs chairs and feels sturdy so now my dog can roam both sides of the car plus lay down comfortably when he wants to nap. The best part is the attached door protectors. Heโs never one to destroy anything so I was never worried about scratches but boy can that dude drool when heโs got the wind in his face and the open road on the horizon. I can still open and close the door to let him in and out and itโs going to keep my car cleaner. Iโm already OCD so I feel like Iโll have to clean less which is a huge time bonus. Overall, this is high quality and I wish I invested in this earlier this year right when I bought the car but weโre here now and never looking back!!! For reference: the medium fit perfectly.

A quality product that supports a small business
We're in the process of looking for another shelter dog as our last one passed about a year ago. The thing is, we just traded our old vehicles and now have a new 2026 Toyota Tundra Platinum that has nice leather seats and I didn't want to have them accidentally clawed or chewed up or to have an "accident" to clean off of them. After an extensive search, I happened upon the Ruff Liners company that sells this very nice "dog hammock" for the back seat. It comes in different sizes depending on the vehicle you want to protect and can be purchased with either a flexible bottom or a "hard" bottom (plastic inserts for stiffening so it won't fall into the wheel well). I went with the large, hard (extended) bottom for our truck and it fits wonderfully! The installation only takes a few minutes as it has buckle straps that go around the front and rear headrest posts plus a strap that goes behind the seat. There are also two rubber "straps" that are pushed into the seat crack to keep it in place. Those are hidden behind zippers so the animal can't get to them when in use. There are also 6 plastic L-shaped holders with Velcro that are intended to fit into the window slots of the rear doors and hold the door panels in place. Our Tundra has an interesting feature in that it has separate slots with pull-up window shades so I was able to use that instead so that there will be no issues with rolling down the rear windows. I like that the hammock is quilted and padded to provide a nice, soft surface for the animal. The hammock folds up for storage in the nice, included storage bag (fold/unfold instructions are provided) and includes a bonus is strap leash to secure the animal if needed. While we haven't tried this with an actual dog yet, it looks like it will do a fine job so I went ahead with the 5 star rating. One last thing to point out is that is comes with a 90 day warranty which can be extended to a year free of charge via their website. We're certainly looking forward to trying this out with a new fur friend!

Comfort and easy to install.
I have a 2026 Toyota Tundra Extra cab. The fit is perfect and the liner protects the back seat, the back of the front seats and most important are the back doors. My last truck got trashed by my dogs. The bottom of the liner platform lies flat across the back and gives extra sitting room for my 2 dogs. I'm going on a road trip so the true test will be how comfortable the dogs will be then. The liner was very easy to install. I am very satisfied so far.

Saved my life
This thing is amazing. Itโs much sturdier than any other dog seat iโve tried, and because itโs so stable my 30kg golden settles down almost immediately in the car. He used to be unsettled and spend the entire car ride stabbing me in the shoulders and neck. My body is ever so grateful for the Ruff Liners dog back seat. extender

Great backseat liner
Just do it. Works perfect in my 2022 Subaru forester, very dialed in and secured with several anchor points. Contains muddy mess (two dogs here). Don't bother with no-name brands, you'll just end up here anyway ๐ I love that it isn't flimsy, or saggy, it just works, also feels very safe and secure. Good job team, great product.

For crew cab only, really
Does not fit double cab as advertised. It's very tight, you have to move seats forward which may not be an option for some people. What's nice is the panels are very easy to remove and trim to fit (corrugated plastic material). Door protectors are too long for a double cab, I had to fold the excess out of the way. Other than that, seems very high quality. No smell like some other covers.

Happy with this purchase!
Love this! Easy install and fits my CRV perfectly. My dog is super anxious in the car and although this hasnโt entirely solved that for him, he definitely looks a little more at ease with the extra space (heโs a 75 pound love bug). We also have someone in the family who works 12 hour shifts and uses the car. The back seat is now a great place to curl up for a nap at break time during the overnight shifts. We just keep a little handheld broom to sweep any dog hair away and then a pillow/sleeping bag in the carrying case that the seat liner came in (itโs the perfect size for this). Anyways, really happy with this purchase and hope it lasts for a long time.

Ram 1500 good fit
Excellent product, best one I have purchased. Fit my Ram 1500 perfectly. Could use straps across top of the mesh area to help support and reinforce for dogs that like to lean on it. Easy to install
