Poor quality, broken I finished the installation

It works great and I like the multiple landing grooves, so you have a lot of options on the large end size of your CV booth. It fits good and once you cut off the extra it looks good. It is a money saver if you are in a need of a booth and don't need to buy a whole CV axle. On a side note, the clamps are your typical crimp type and you will need the pliers to crimp them. But it is still a geart way to go.

When replacing the outer cv axle boot you must cut the clamps holding the inner boot in place for removal in order to separate the inner joint so you can access the snap ring holding the roller assembly in place. Once that's removed from the shaft you can slide the outer boot off. They should supply you with two sets of metal clamps for both the inner and outer boot since both are required to be removed and replaced, instead they just give you 2 zip ties to secure the inner boot when reassembling. That's a cheap way out from the manufacturer. You should buy a set of metal clamps for the inner boot before performing this repair. Three stars for this reason.

these are very good quality boots, and fit my 1994 dana 30 axle (jeep zj) perfectly. my only criticism is that it did not come with cv grease like most boot kits do. so you will need to buy it separately, i recommend valvolene full synthetic hi moly cv boot grease sold on amazon. note: the website description says these are split boots. they are solid. which is good, because split boots eventually leak and let in dirt and destroy the bearings quickly.

I won’t know for sure, but these should last much longer than the rubber type went together easy and silicone is a lot easier to work with than rubber would highly recommend! used on 2013 John Deere 825 i front outer cv joint.
