I purchased the pink version of this beam for my daughter who is a gymnast. She is only 6 and so at times the big beams at the gym can be a little scary for her when attempting new tricks. Having this low to the floor beam at home gives her a chance to try all that new stuff without the fear of falling off. When she gets back into the gym she is more confident with the new tricks because she has had time to work on them in a way that feels safe to her. In her head the trick is learned and doing it on a bigger beam is no longer a problem. I would encourage any age gymnast to try one of these. Its light enough for my 6yr old to set up and move around herself and when shes done it folds up in a way that is small enough for us to tuck in a corner or under the couch. It stays securely on my wooden floor and has never slipped out from under my daughter. Its sturdy enough for an adult to walk on it without making any dents or compacting any areas. The price is about average compared to other beams but the quality of this one makes it stand out from the crowd.

This is perfect for my toddler. It's soft and very light weight. I love the portability of being able to fold it. My toddler is in gymnastics and also does some different therapies in home. I have wanted to get a balance beam for our home but haven't been able to afford one until I found this.

first thing I noticed is the material is loose around the hard foam. The foam in side is stiff which is good. The bottom has a anti slip material. If it wasn't for the loose materiel I would have given it 5 stars. it will work fine and I can't wait to give it to my daughter for xmas.

Great gift for young children wanted to pursue a competitive gymnastics track without a big investment nor taking a lot of space in the house.

My daughter loves this! She can easily move it around and it's perfect for safely practicing beam skills at home. I received a big discount on this and am glad I did as it is way overpriced! But we're happy with the purchase for what we paid.

I bought this for my daughters bday who turned 5. She has had one gymnastics beginner class but loves it so much she wanted her own beam. This is perfect because its lightweight and fits right under her bed. Very sturdy for being lightweight and price is reasonable.
