I purchased three of these. One for my GSD puppy and lab mix, and two for my bunnies. The german shepherd kept knocking the bottle off the back and eventually (after about a week) managed to destroy the lid to the bottle entirely. The water dishes are working great for my bunnies though. They're easy to rinse clean and the bunnies enjoy drinking from the dish.

3 A.M. in the morning slowly creeps up.The house is silent.I hear foot steps. "tap tap tap tap"My Pit Bull has awoken from his slumber, ready to take a nice big drink that shall surely wake up the house.*SLURP SLURP SLURP SLURP SLURP*I think to myself.. "Well, atleast there's not enough water to last him..-"But then I remember I got him this water bowl, and got rid of the other one.Nobody in the house slept that night, the water lasted the whole nigh....Some say, the water even has lasted to this day.TL;DR Water bowl is great and lasts days for dogs so you don't have to worry about your pooch going thirsty.

Holds water well, it's really small though

I read some of the reviews saying that this water tank was "small" and got worried, but it's actually quite big, I think it would take even a great dane at least a couple days to go through. With my dog it lasts about a week. This has come in handy as often times when I'm in a rush to get ready for work in the morning I forget to fill my dog's water bowl and have left her with little to no water- I felt like the devil. Now those worries are gone. I just hope I don't forget to check on the amount of water in this and not realize it's out.Overall The product quality seems great, The tank wont leak when you turn it upside down making it extremely easy to get into the base. After the tank is sitting in the base it slowly fills the bowl up to a good level and keeps it there. It's very quiet and doesn't make any weird noises as it replenishes the bowl with water.

I was so excited about this unit but wondered how big it was. When I received the unit I was a little disappointed at the size. I believe it would work best for a small to medium sized dogs. My 84 lbs girl can go through a gallon in one day. The system works perfect and its cute.

The food container and both dispensers are easy to clean and access. The water one will be tricky as the only access to inside that is the spout. It took a minute to get the water bottle situated but my dogs ate and drank from them right away. We free feed and have two pooches med and small breed. It’s definitely a time saver and leaves more time for belly scratches.

Truly terrible. The quality of this product is cheap. The gravity flow doesn't work, we ended up having to break the piece in order to get water to flow. The filter is terrible. So much bacteria and dirt nothing filtering it. We have a secondary water disperser that works great (got it at PetSmart) the filter and dispensing mechanism is just so much better. Our dogs hated this one. The top also doesn't stay on, it fell off multiple times moving it from sink to ground.

Before I purchase this automatic water feed, I always forget to fill up water to my little kitty's small water tank. Sometimes it even comes totally dry. But with this, I can stop blaming myself of forgetting fill up water for my kitty. It functions pretty well as the seller declares. The only thing is it is a little big for small size kitty. Sometimes my little kitty will put its paws in the water plate. Just like washing her hands :)
