Great product great value!
AS ADVERTISED! Very solid, took it to our welder and it became part of the trailers frame. Perfect for towing our 15’ aluminum fishing boat.

Very strong hitch
This is very heavy steel. Definitely helpful using a jack or lift to position and size it, and clamps for tack welding. Read the instructions. I see many people making comments that clearly indicate they did not read the instructions. The bolts are temporary.

Pretty easy to install if you know a welder
We have a Travel Trailer (2400bh) and welded this baby on behind our current bumper (actually our friend welded this on), but we assisted. It took approximately 2 hours from start to finish, but we were chatting in-between too. We measured the distance between our frames on the trailer, then made sure our slides matched up to the same size. We screwed the holding bolts in to keep the slides in place, verified it would fit our trailer, placed hitch back on saw horse, used a tool to scrape off the paint all around where we planned to weld, and welded each side to the center hitch bracket. Once that was done, we removed the holding bolts, spray painted the welded spots, took it back to the trailer, used a jack to lift it up into place, used some c-clamps to keep it tight on each side of the frame, welded each side to our trailer frame and again spray painted the welded spots.. We tested it out with our bike rack and a 170lb person and nothing seemed to move so hopefully it will be good to go once we officially use it.

A good hitch!
I cut off the 4"x4" bumper off my camper and welded this to the frame of my camper. This works great for a couple of bikes on a bike rack. I ended up welding the slide part of this hitch as well, it was rotating slightly and the bolts that hold it in place came loose. Now it's VERY sturdy. I could not fit mine 'upside down' which is what I wanted for ground clearance but this has worked fine in it's normal orientation.

Great value for such a sturdy hitch
I needed a hitch for my travel trailer to mount a cargo carrier and looked at all the option out there including the more expensive bolt on options but decided I would rather have this permanently welded to the frame.Installation was pretty straight forward and can be done by yourself if you have a hydraulic floor jack. The nice thing about this hitch is it can be mounted within 1/3 of an inch of the rear of the frame as long a you leave room for your welder to get a bead around the bracketsThe hitch is very well made and heavy duty however there was some small areas where the paint was bubbling. I fixed that while I was grinding off the paint in the areas where I needed to weld then repainted. I would highly recommend this hitch if you can weld or have a friend that can do it. pretty easy to install and great quality.

Well built!
Very well built. Only gave 3 star for install only because it needs welded on and for some that can be difficult. Very happy with the purchase

Solid weld in hitch for camper
I bought this to weld onto the frame of my camper to carry my hitch mount bike carrier. From the manufacturer specs I think this is under rated, however, it is meant for trailers and I’m sure they are being safe. I’m not an experienced welder, but I can stick metal together. This job was not over tasking if you have the equipment to do the job. I did it by myself with plenty of clamps, but a friend might have made it a lot easier. Overall I’m very please with it and would buy again if needed for another camper.

Sturdy Accessory Receiver
Amazon lists this as an accessory holder, primarily for using a hitch mounted bike rack or cargo carrier. The manufacturer rates the hitch for 3,000 lbs. towing. We use ours for our mountain bike carrier. This thing is solid and is far superior to mounting bikes on a flimsy RV bumper. The only down side is it has to be welded on. We have a family member who is a certified fabricator so we got it installed for free. We feel much more secure carrying our bikes on the back of the RV. No complaints about the quality, pretty heavy duty.
