    Great book, wish I bought it before my first exam

Bought the e-book version for my retake, was surprised how easy and simple land law is explained in this book. I had Nigel Gravells' Land Law textbook before and used it for my first exam. It was too detailed and complex, failing to show the bigger picture in topics and getting lost in walls of extracts from cases without explaining their significance. It was simply a terrible book to study for the exams.But Martin Dixon has done a great job in conveying the bigger picture in a simple and motivating manner. He mentions all the necessary cases, but doesn't waste pages copying and pasting parts of irrelevant ones with merely historical significance. Dixon helps build a solid base for building knowledge on Land Law, adding sturdily adding more information with each new topic. Confident for the upcoming exam!

Not a bad book if one wants to get to grips with the knotty problems of English Land law, not much in it for those who have no interest in the subject.

Love this book. It helped me pass my property class really well - both assignment and paper. It really simplifies and clarifies a lot of the teachings. Other books can be very dense and hard to read - this is clear and straightforward.
