Push Type Oil Gun with Hydraulic Tip-Video

I bought this (after calling the company and verifying it had a standard zerk fitting coupler on the end - I was told it did) to inject gear oil into a zerk fitting as called for by an equipment maker. The item did not have a coupler on the the end, just a cone shaped fitting that you are supposed to hold firmly against the zerk fitting. That may work on the engineer's drawing board but not hanging upside down in real life. I couldn't keep enough pressure on it to get past the ball in the zerk fitting and ended up just leaking gear oil everywhere. Never mind that the actual capacity of this item is only equal to a few sewing thimbles. AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, with the pressure this is apparently capable of generating, would you want to risk it slipping off and possibly injecting you with grease - that would be a definite hospital visit. The threaded portion is 9mm and therefore couldn't interchange with a common 1/8' NPT coupler. It was returned. I gave it 2 stars instead of the ONE STAR the item deserves because the company was courteous in my dealings with them.

I don't normally write reviews but this product was absolutely terrible. I can't believe this would cost more than 10 bucks and the quality was just lacking. A team of machinists couldn't figure out how to use it or why it didn't work properly. Will find a different way to shoot way lube into a zerk!Sent back, and seller did refund complete amount so no complaint there. Thank you
