Dumont Nitro Intense 3.4 Fl Oz Eau De Parfum for Men – Spicy Oriental Fragrance – Strong Long Lasting Performance

Got this about a month back and the first few sprays kind of turned me off; the opening citrus blast came off synthetic and alcohol-tinged, and the birch overpowered all of the other notes in the drydown and made it smell like a car air freshener. Not good. So, into the drawer it went for a couple of weeks. I wasn't expecting much to change in that short of a time, but man... this stuff evolved. The opening mellowed out some, but more notably, the juiciness of the pineapple really started to shine through and the blackcurrant and plum notes decided to show up and make things a bit darker and jammier. As it dried down, the birch was still the dominant note, but the air freshener vibe was completely gone. It developed some actual character and complexity with the green notes and florals peeking through. A few hours in, the opening and mid notes started to become background noise and the vanilla, amber, and sandalwood take center stage. I don't really get any of the warm spice of the tonka, and if the musk is there it must be the cleanest most subtle musk in all of perfumery because it was ghost to my nose, but I'm not too fussed tbh. I like where it lands, even if it's not going to win any awards for complexity. Performance is alright. 5 or so hrs before it becomes a skin scent, but projection and sillage are pretty heavy duty for the first couple of hours. I had 3 sprays on and my gf could smell that I'd walked through the lobby of our apartment a couple of minutes before she got home. Can't speak to the accuracy of the DNA because I've not gotten my nose on real Aventus Absolu, but on its own merits I'd say Dumont Nitro Intense punches above its weight for its price, and seems to be the best dollar for dollar entry point if you are looking for something with that Creed AA DNA.

Now this one right here i would classify as a beast mode fragrance, great Absolu Aventus Creed dupe for the price. Very masculine. The night i wore this i got compliments all night from random people about how good it smells. And how it lingers in the air. I will admit though l, when you first spray this on… it is quite annoying at first but if you can work through the first few minutes and get to the dry down… this fragrance is insane for the price. I will def buy again and keep in my collection.

The atomizer isn't the best however the juice inside is quite strong. Smells identical to supremecy Invictus clone.
