## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the difference between this pro formula vs the health plus omega treats?  pro price is $19 vs $10.**
A: Both soft mini chews equally contain the same % of main ingredients with MSM, Chondroitin and Glucosamine.  The difference is:  1) The health plus contains the extra addition of fish oil (omega-3) which is supposed to help with the skin and coat.  2) The pro formula contains Boswellia and no fish oil.  Boswellia is an herbal extract that is supposedly outstanding in aiding with joint pain, plus it has been stated to fight cancer holistically.  My opinion:  Although the health plus is about half the price of the pro formula, for my dog, he does not like the fish smell so he would not eat the health plus version.  He does however love the Pro DS Plus and eats it like a treat.  I have even been able to disguise one dose of his Gabapentin (mini pain pills) inside as he no longer will eat the Pill Pockets either.  He has cancer so I am giving him every chance for a quality of life with less pain that I can give him.  Thus, I pay more and get the Pro DS Plus mini chews.  If your dog does not have any serious health issues but just has joint pain and doesn't object to the odor or taste from fish oil, I would say to try one packet of the Health Plus first.  Both are great products...it's just up to your dog at this point what he/she will or won't eat.  Hope this answers your question.  Good luck!

A: What we get is in bag...check and make sure you are getting right product.

**Q: How long does it usually take for this to work?**
A: Work? I'm not sure what you mean as I give it to my dog as preventative maintenance. She is only a yr & half.

A: 130 mg sodium chrondroitin sulfate

My 10 month old puppy started to have joint pain about 7 months in. We took him to the vet and diagnosed him with Luxating Patella. He was at a point to where he didn't want to get up bc he was in so much pain. How did we figure out something was wrong? He walked with his back leg up and hopped. The vet did not recommend this supplement, and encouraged us to get surgery. PLEASE TRY THIS SUPPLEMENT FIRST BEFORE SURGERY! My dog has been on this for 2 months now and is life changing! He's back to his normal self. So thankful we found this product. Also, we tried Dasuquin, but it was too hard on his tummy, so we tried Cosequin and was a hit! He loves the taste and smell. I break it into smaller pieces and feed it to him every night. I say it's a million percent worth the money.
