Yes. Please, refrigerate or put in the freezer. If no room, put in a cooler outside if your weather is cold enough to keep the meat cold enough.

Is this sausage an Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods product only? Or can anyone with Prime get it delivered? It having to be on ice is why I ask.

It is a product you can find anywhere (e.g., Safeway). I doubt Whole Foods would carry it. If you have Prime you can get it delivered. Amazon now has insulated bags. I ALWAYS only order from Amazon when I am present to receive it and promptly put frig items away.

Can this be used as "bulk breakfast sausage"?
