Works as a basic car stereo with Bluetooth. The screen looks nice and has good quality. Doesn't pull much power when off so it won't drain your battery. It was easy to install with the included hardware and was pretty bog-standard to do. My biggest issue is that the Android Auto does not work at all. I connected my device like I have with other stereos with Car Play and it will not activate at all. When I try to launch car play features, it just says "connect an android device." and doesn't connect. I've granted every permission I can on my device, but it never triggers Auto. Aside from that, it works fine. The audio quality is great for a low-end stereo and there is minimal delay in the Bluetooth audio. The various menu options are fairly intuitive and easy to configure with the touch screen. The instructions are marginally helpful, but you'll need to rely on intuition to get the most out of this device.

I have worked with car audio since the 90s and this is the first time I have seen a design like this. Typically it's a fold out screen, or a very large screen that actually won't fit in many cars because it will overlap essential things. This is a nice idea. You get a decent size screen, similar in size to many lower trim "infotainment" screens in modern cars. The key being that while it is clearly larger than a single din opening, it isn't so much so that it would be problematic for the vast majority of cars with only a single din radio slot. When installed, with the exception of the rather cheap looking volume knob, this looks like it came with the car. That is a look that I appreciate. That aside, the unit performs very well. I didn't test mirror link but Android Auto worked great. After the first connection, it reconnected quickly and reliably each time I fired up the vehicle. Sound quality from the internal amplifier is much better than I had anticipated, surpassing that of a JVC unit it replaced. It does have line outputs, but just a single pair. You can get a line driver to turn that into 3 sets if needed. Bottom line, for under 50.00 (49.99 - 20% in coupons at the time of this writing) you get a very respectable stereo with the same modern infotainment features current cars come with. Great buy!
