Don Pepino Spaghetti Sauce, 28 Ounce (Pack of 12)

My husband's favorite food is Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. I'm always in search of the perfect sauce, whether in a can/jar, or homemade recipes. My family loves the Don Pepino pizza sauce so much, I could not wait to try out this product. So. I give it a 5 star for quality, but the listed ingredient onion powder I feel is more dominant than we prefer. (Some may love this!) So, I added some dried garlic and additional Italian seasonings to fine-tune it. This helped balance out the onion flavor really well. Next time I make it, I plan to use 2 cans and add 1 can of Don Pepino pizza sauce and mix together. Or one large Spaghetti Sauce can with 1 can of Don Pepino pizza sauce plus garlic and italian seasoning. I think this will make it even better! I would buy again.

Don Pepino, you did it again!!!! We loved the pizza sauce, and we had to try the spaghetti sauce. Fresh right out of the can. How do you do it!! Such simple ingredients and love. You put love in it!! I know this because you can taste it!! Don't change a thing. The value is appreciated we have a big family. Thank you Thank you.

This brand can be hard to find on Amazon, and doesn't exist at any stores in my area, despite being only a state away from where they claim this is made. I can't stand the sickeningly sweet pasta sauces that are all that seem to exist these days; Ragu, Prego, Classico used to be good but then they became candy too... this is the only sauce that doesn't have high fructose corn syrup or that disgusting genetically modified beet "sugar" they're putting in everything nowadays. I use this as pasta sauce, as a base for homemade chili... it's terrific! Only issue is with delivery; since Amazon stopped having their own delivery people, and is using the post office as their delivery service, stuff doesn't arrive at least half the time due to damage or being lost... arrives late, dented, and in the completely wrong place if I do get it. So unfortunately due to the post office's delivery I won't be buying this anymore. Product is 5 stars; delivery is -10.

The product is great, we have been using it forever. I highly recommend the product itself. The problem I have is Amazon all of a sudden doesn't seem to be capable of delivering undamaged product to the customer. Look at the condition of these cans. These are just the worst of the 12, but each can is damaged in some way. Like they have been tossed around, dropped, and beat up. It's unacceptable. The case was taped together and loosely packed in another Amazon box so it can slam and shift like a rock tumbler during the ride from the warehouse. This is not the first time Amazon is damaging product. I tried to buy a pair of table lamps a couple months ago, and after two tries with the product glass globes broken, Amazon gave up and refunded me. It's a huge waste and shame because all the value is already put into the product and then Amazon destroys it at the last step.

We stocked up on these! They are so good for a quick sauce, add to Italian sausage? Yummy! Definitely, highly recommended, especially if you see them on sales!
