Nice pan to cook aappa/ hoppers. It is created exactly to do that job. I always thought it is something you never can order online.

Good product, can't be used on an electric stove
Fantastic if you've got a gas burning stove, but for flat top electric stoves it didn't work well at all. Luckily I have a camping stove that uses propane and I was able to use it.TL;DR -- don't buy if you have an electric stove.

Too hot to handle!
Heat is conducted from the pan itself to both the pan handles, thereby making the handles too hot to hold to circulate the batter when cooking.

I love this product. Makes great Appams for breakfast. Can make a good regular size appam using this chatty. I am so happy I bought this product, they come nice and fluffy and do not stick to chatty at all when you make it. Evenly cooks the bottom. I used it on my coil stove and had no problem. I think the design is neat.

Toxic Pan! Pallapam / Appachetty / Appa Chatty: Contains Super Toxic PTFE "All of the Way Through" !
We bought this trying to avoid PFOA, and it said it was free from that.We also want 100% PFOS-free, PFAS-free, BPA-free, lead-free.When the box arrived, it shows that there is PTFE all of the way through. Thanks, for the latent warning.Should have been on the website.We returned.

Too flat for apom
It is a good product, but not deep enough to give you that nice curve for apom. Your apoms will end up looking more like pancakes. Hence the 3 stars.
