Hi JD! kin+kind Flea+Tick products are certified 100% USDA Biobased, and qualified EPA Minimum Risk Pesticides. We manufacture everything in our own FDA-registered workshop under GMP standards, but it is the EPA, not the FDA, that regulates this category, so there are no FDA approvals for our, or any other, flea and tick products

should this be a liquid, or a lotion consistency? The one I received has a thick lotion consistency.
