Transfer data between two devices using a serial communication protocol If your equipment require all 9 pins straight through, take this 6 foot 9 pin serial cable adapter wherever you need it, it allows you to add your peripherals to an application or replace the cables. This 9 pin serial cable male to male is with gold plated pins for superior corrosion resistance ensuring a solid connection. The wires inside the cable are connected to the pins in the order of the standard wire color code (black brown red orange etc.), which makes hook-up a breeze when you need to cut the RS232 cable and make some other wires to the pins. The connectors are equipped with a pair of thumbscrews for securing the plug to the female socket. A: Hi, I'm sorry that I don't quite understand the message you left here. This serial RS232 cable is with DB9 male to male connector on both end.  Please  be noted this is not VGA cable for video connection.

**Q: can I get the pin layout . like which bpin is GND?**
A: Pin 1 - DCD (Black wire), Pin 2 - RXD (brown), Pin 3 - TXD (red), Pin 4 - DTR (orange), Pin 5 - GND Signal ground (yellow), Pin 6 -  DSR (green), Pin 7 -  RTS (blue), Pin 8 -  CTS (purple), Pin 9 -  RI (grey).
