The video they have of the man installing this rack is incorrect. I will upload a video of proper instillation. This is the second roof rack of purchased on Amazon over the last year because we sold our last vehicle. The other one was $180 and this one was just over a hundred bucks and this one is way better quality! Literally everything about this one is better quality. The number one reason I chose this one is the mounting brackets. The last one I had and just like many others on Amazon the bolts were protruding upward in the storage area and anything I put on the roof rack would get cut up and slowly destroying everything up there. My cooler has big giant scratches all over the bottom, not just surface scratches. This one you can put a table in it and it won't touch any bolts or threads it's perfectly flat. The other one I received when I was inspecting inside the tubing before putting it together there was already surfaced rest forming! This one was perfect and absolutely no raw metal showing everything was coated. The previous one I caulked all of the ends before putting it together to help prevent rust but this one I did not see it necessary as everything was coated perfectly.

a 250 lb weight rating - good construction, welded at chamfered corners (which is hard to tell from the pics); coated with some type of thick paint which is also good - seems like it def will be rust resistant; not long to put together - about 45 mins doing it by myself. Overall a solid rack and bonus straps, netting and weather proof bag - all for a good price.

At the end of July, I plan to take a road trip with the kids. But we had too much luggage for a family of six, so we had to buy a luggage rack for extra space. Luckily, the luggage rack looks sturdy and has a lot of load-bearing capacity. I installed it myself in ten minutes. The instructions are easy to understand and there are installation drawing. This is great! I hope it will help us in our travels.
