I have 2 elder dogs, I have a red heeler mix that's around 15 and an applehead chihuahua that is about the same age and they both had gotten really slow about moving and the red heeler has always been a spunky dog just full of energy but she had began to experience hip pain and would wince and cry out and even fall coming up and down the steps so I started looking for something to give her besides pills from the vet because she hated taking them and they only masked the pain. I ordered these on a whim one day and it was like flipping a switch with them. Mattie began running around again having her zoomies and Izzy has never been one to play but even she began wanting to from time to time.They have had great results and Mattie loves the flavor, Izzy isn't really a fan of the liver flavor but she will eat them anyway to keep any other animals from getting them. Mattie has reverse aged around 5 years and it took no time to begin to see the change in her and for me that's what makes keeping these chews in stock here.

we started giving these to our senior dog because he was really slowing down and really couldn't jump on couch anymore etc and within a week. his movement improved and his quality of life has greatly improved . we started giving to our other large bread dog as preventative and they both love the taste. they are soft and easy to chew. i have recommended these to every dog owner i know . we get them shipped to us monthly

I haven't been using these too long. My first container arrived with the top popped off and the plastic film broken- which emptied the contents into the shipping box. I don't think it is a matter of tampering, but that the small container jostling around in a big box led it to popping off. The plastic film freshness/tamper film is thin and the cup is really just a milk carton style cup, so.. imagine easy to break. What was in the box did seem fresh, so I figured it was popped open during shipment a decided it was worth trying another one. I requested a replacement and got one immediately. Those arrived in good condition.I have been using a different mobility supplement for my two young labs (at the time, 3 years old and 1.5 year) for about a year. It started when my big girl was sometimes favoring a back leg. I immediately set out to trim some weight off and get her started on a supplement. The latter helped almost immediately. We also slowly took some weight off, as weight came off energy and mobility increased. She went from 95 now to 77. I mention this because less weight on joints is going to do wonders. I added in the supplement to support her joints now- and in the future. Using a supplement, especially with big breeds is good to use at any age, in any condition- so I started my young boy on them as well. So while I am not making a switch from the brand we are loyal to, I am ok with giving a couple doses a week with a different brand.Start with the higher dosage, then go to maintenance dose (which is typically halve the starter dose). This is your daily supplement dose. Some companies will say to up it back to starter dose as needed. Consult vet for more advice on that.For us, selecting this item all began when I was running low on our preferred supplement, and needed something to tide us over until the other arrived. I looked for something comparable. When I came across this product, read through dozens of reviews including all of the low rated ones, I decided to give this a try. While it wasn't my primary concern, I was intrigued that it is about 10x less expensive than what I normally give them; and reviews seemed favorable, or at least not that much different than any other brand I was looking at. All seemed to skew the same- except price. At $7.99 for a dog over 80 lbs, that is 3 chews a day (maintenance). A 90 count container will last 30 days for 1 80+ lb dog. That is .08 cents per chew, so 0.24 cents per day per dog (so for me .48 per day for 2 dogs). With similar math, my others cost 0.81 cents per day per dog, so $1.62 per day. I still feel more comfortable and satisfied with their other brand, but I think now I can add in maybe 2 doses of this per week per dog to change things up. Some similarities in the formula, some differences.Hope this helped. I will make a point to come back here to update if we experience anything out of the ordinary- good or bad. So far so good. My girl likes the flavor, my extra picky boy will get around to it. Neither are used to chicken livers, so that might be their hesitation. I have no idea how many calories are in these as pet food supplements do not have to add that information in (but some do anyway). Since my girl is on a diet, I do prefer to know. These are quite tiny, so I imagine in the 10-13 calorie range at most. I'm not sure if I like that the ingredients might possibly be sourced from China- so keep than in mind when deciding on these. Container says Made in USA, but with "globally sourced" ingredients. Great little treats. My 6 year old standard Aussie loves them. We give him two a day to help with his hips and joints. I mentioned to the vet he would doing something we called "Scooby Doo-ing" where he'd sometimes slide across the floor like he couldn't get his balance and she recommended these. We haven't had any issues since. We've done a monthly subscription so we always have them.

My 11 year old labs hips were starting to give out on him and I was skeptical about how well adding some glucosamine and omegas into his diet were going to help but holy cow I’m impressed! This was the only thing we’ve changed and they have helped tremendously.

These gave my doggie tummy upset so unfortunately we had to stop using them. She is sensitive to something in joint chews, not just these.

My 13 year old doggies, Poppy, Porky,& Zoey. Love these ! We where using a brand from tractor supply that they also liked but they seem to really like these ! Dogs have been much more active! Actually playing again! Their fur coats look healthier and shiny! The little tablet is not too Hard. Mine have teeth that are going bad but not yet a issue for extraction at vet luckily. The ingredients are pretty standard to what to expect from a supplement like this. I saw another review about constipation from these so I purchased a auto water water fountain with charcoal filter to encourage more water drinking especially for my one dog she is getting blind and has a hard time finding her way around especially if we move things on her. She is loving these the most. SO FAR ITS BEEN EXCELLENT purchase with GREAT noticeable results only like a week in!! The packaging could be better I worry for other customers using for one dog the container may go stale by the time it gets finished. It's just a plastic like sour cream type container with pop off lid. Also someone dog could potentially chew through the whole thing. So I would recommend storing up high out of reach or in the refrigerator. We love these ! Thank you petnc
