HORACE Mattifying Face Moisturizer for Men, Unscented, 75 ml

Fairly new to Horace but was eager to try it as it’s largely natural. Was concerned it wouldn’t last as long as my previous moisturiser (Lumin) but the tube is holding up well. It’s lightly scented which fades and isn’t unpleasant and best of all is the Matt effect as no one wants a shiny forehead. I’m using it with the serum and so far I feel my skin looks fresher but without trace that I’ve used loads of product. Keen to try more products from Horace - definitely recommend

Great moisturiser cream! Fragrance free which I love! Absorption wise it’s not the best, no matter the skin type - both a friend of mine and me tried it with different skin types! Effective overall when combined with a serum! Value for money could be better if priced at a lower cost!

Not bad, sinks in well but this isn’t mattifying. You are left with slightly tacky shiny face still so what’s the point?

Excellent. No shine and good value given the size of the tube.

Have tried a lot of different moisturizers over the years, always go back to this one. I like the mattifying part of it.

This lightweight gel-cream is ideal for anyone seeking effective hydration without the heaviness. My partner has oily to combination skin, and many moisturizers either sit on the surface without absorbing or are too light to prevent dryness. This one strikes the perfect balance - it absorbs quickly and hydrates deeply. While it has a mildly earthy scent that isn’t particularly pleasant, it fades fast and doesn’t linger. Infused with prickly pear extract and provitamin B5, the formula hydrates and mattifies without leaving any residue. The mattifying effect holds up well throughout the day and night. If you have oily or combination skin, you can expect visible improvements in texture and appearance. It leaves skin soft, refreshed, and noticeably shine-free.

This moisturizer is a little thinner than I expected, but it leaves the skin feeling really soft and not greasy at all. There’s no strong scent. My husband had a few small breakouts when he first started using it, but I think that was just his skin adjusting since he doesn’t usually use skincare products. After a few days, his very tired skin cleared up and looked smoother and more hydrated. Overall, it’s a light, effective moisturizer that works well once your skin settles into it.
