You will need mounting hardware
Fit just like original. Does not come with mounting fasteners. After drilling out large factory rivets, use 1/4 inch by 1 inch hex head bolts to install. Then just trim bolts down flush with nuts and they will not interfere with door panel. 2001 Chevy Astro van install

Perfect fit.
We needed this, because both front door lock solenoids on our Tahoe failed. We've been manually locking it, but it was tight. If I'm going to open the door to clean the latch, I may as well replace the solenoids. There are negative reviews about them not being strong enough. They are *very* strong. It's likely that the latch mechanism is gummed up. It needs to be cleaned and lubricated. It won't fix neglect in other parts. The lock rod should move easily. If it doesn't, fix the problem. You will need to flip the bracket around as appropriate for the side and placement. Our OEM solenoids had the bracket sticking down. Just pull the 4 7mm screws, put it in the appropriate alignment, and put them back. They do have a tab on the electrical connector that wasn't compatible with the OEM wiring harness. I just dremeled them off.It didn't come with screws. I used some 1/2" long #8 screws. It's hard to put them in, where you can't see the back. I put a nut on, to secure the screw to the bracket. When I put it in, all I had to do was add another nut and tighten it. There's room to play with the solenoids, so offsetting it 1/8" doesn't impact the performance.I'll order these again, when the lock solenoids fail in another 20 years.

Great Value and Fit
Fits and functions perfectly in my 2000 Cadillac Escalade. My package included the hardware needed for install. I didn't have to drill out the rivets on the factory mounting bracket. I just unbolted the old actuator from the bracket, removed the small dirt cover on this unit to put on the factory one that covered more, then bolted it in place. I cleaned off the dirty rods inside the door too so everything is working great again.

Fast Delivery
The fit is perfect. I gave it 3 stars because I purchased this item back in 2018 from the same company, it worked great for about 2 years and then it quit locking the door. I had the dealer ship replace it twice in the past they were defective. I think it's just a defect in the design.
