I have always needed to use a stylus on my iphone and when I had my original SE with the headphone jack, I used the old style that had a short leash and the round plug (at left in photo). This year I bought the newer SE model iphone that does not have a headphone jack and I had to sandwich my stylus loose in the phone case. I lost them regularly. Then I discovered this stylus with the expandable leash that plugs into the charger cord port (center in photo)! More expensive that the 10-pack of the old style, (and I didn't think the rubber nib was as effective on the phone screen; hence the three stars) but this one plugs into the phone charger port and stays put. I actually prefer the original style of stylus so I separated the leash from the new sparkly stylus and attached the leash to my old type of stylus (at right in photo). Really terrific now!

These are really good. Keep one in my purse, one next to my computer. They are really effective at keeping my hands/fingers clean while checking out at grocery stores, etc.
