Great Italian pasta
Garofalo pasta is truly Italian. Love the coarse texture and the consistency is good and stays al dente (unless you let it cook for too long!). Orecchiette are my fave - just shame about the price, which ins a bit steep for a pack of pasta!

Great for a meat sauce
I make my ragu sauce with stewing beef and pork mince slow cooked in tomato sauce, these little pigs ears just fill up with the sauce, yum.

Good pasta
Good pasta, good flavour, cook a little unevenly until the last minute or two so keep your eye on them when cooking

An authentic brand of Italian's Pasta
In UK there are so many brands of pasta that I never heard in my life...they may be even "made in italy" but probably from batch we would note at there as often the pasta isn't exactly good and can overcook easily, yes not all pasta is the same, quite far from it actually!Garofalo is a good brand, these Orecchiette taste very good and cook nicely, also it is a shape of pasta not easy to find in supermarket (traditionally this past is from Apulia / Puglia in south Italy), hey watch Gino's Italian Escape and you'll see :)Nowadays you can find pasta from Gragnano in some supermarket here in UK too, which is great, as heads up that's considered the best paste in Italy, it has a DOP certificate too.

My favourite pasta
I really enjoy cooking this pasta. It’s easy to cook, easy to drain and it’s tasty. It also looks luxurious. Also when it’s on offer I buy several packs at once.
