Quality on a budget
Great purchase! I bought it for gaming and the performance is great. The TV seems to adjust to the lighting in the room which is a cool feature. Black and dark images are clear while bright colors pop! Definitely worth it for the price point.

Only brand TV I buy these days
Love this 65” I purchased my first Hisense about 27 yrs ago. Was a 40in on sale for under $150. It was for kids game machine to get them off family set. Never heard of them so was an experiment. Was very impressed with the quality picture. Worked too good. Son’s dog was visiting and charged a dog on the screen and fractured it. Big strong hard headed beast. Replaced with 55” 25 yrs going strong. So, long story short I exclusively purchase Hisense since. Each one has been great and a super value and no failures. This one (65”)has continued to uphold and exceed my expectations. We stream, connect devices, use over wireless, have in a home theater etc. Several of my friends have spent thousands more on other brands that are supposed to be the best. But, all have had different issues from physical hardware breakages to display scan issues and WiFi connectivity issues. When they see mine and ask what brand and how much I paid they think I’m joking. Only brand I buy now. Even the latest CES 26 reviews rated their newest in each category among the top 3. I’d even argue some of the ratings preferences as they got down to subjective minor differences. Hisense just released a 100in. Category set. I’d love to get it but can’t justify it to my wife. 65in TVs are all great and she makes the good argument the newer models in that category will get better after a year or two. I’d recommend mounting any TV of 65in or higher. Mostly as a safety factor. Wall mounts are so inexpensive with lots of features and you won’t have to worry about little ones getting injured. Recommend Buy.

Best RGB color for Budget Mini-LED
Bought the budget TCL mini-led QM5K 50 inch and everything about it was perfect (Google TV) but the color was a little off and not sure if that is a one-off issue, or if all 5K's are like that. Very impressive with vibrant colors and smooth clear images, but it didn't have a wide range in the yellow and orange colors. It was a little limited even after trying all sorts of color calibrations and adjustments. Bought this TV and it does have smooth play issues (stuttering) at the beginning of Prime Video. After about a minute, it is okay. Tried both Ethernet and WIFI and it didn't matter. Haven't tried my fire or Roku stick yet, but I might. If this Hisense had Google TV, I would have bought two, no question. I don't like Fire much. As for the color, I use the "Custom" setting for Picture Mode and the color is EXACTLY the way I like it. It's so good, I didn't even check the other settings. I use the same exact numbers for HLG, HDR10, and "standard video (like youtube) and live TV". Having "Skin Tone Control" really helps add more color without over-saturation. I didn't see that on my TCL. Not sure if the AI chip learns the signal format, but it does seem to improve the more I use it. Not a lot, but it does seem smoother and clearer now than out of the box. Another win for this TV over the 5K is I have it hooked up to a Vizio sound bar. On this TV, when you adjust the volume, it gives a number value (10,12,14) but the TCL just shows + or -. I like to see the number volume value. Since Fire isn't intuitive for setting, you have to disconnect the eARC HDMI cable, THEN adjust your bass/treble, then plug it back in. (huh?) to add depth to the sound bar. Hisense does need to tweak this model a little bit, and if they do, it will be very much a value win as a mini-led at this price point and is very much worth it. I almost went with a QLED, but glad I spent the extra $100 or so for mini-led.

Perfect TV for the price.
Great TV. Picture quality is great.. easy to connect to WI-FI, remote is also easy to navigate. At first the TV did not seem that bright but you can easily change from Movie mode, picture mode, etc to adjust the picture to as bright or dim that you need for your surroundings. We use it in a very dark movie room so the bright picture really stands out. I did a lot of research before purchasing this TV and for the price it is a fantastic TV.

Quality Products
This set is easy to set up and works great. We use this as our main source and have no complaints. Picture is crystal clear, do get a sound bar for better audio, but you should do that with any large screen. Highly recommend and would buy it again.

Best Value Entry-level Mini-LED on the Market (2026)
Best value entry-level Mini-LED TV on the market today. For only ~$330 you can’t find a better option. While brighter panels definitely exist, I didn’t want to break the bank for a TV that isn’t going to see high daily usage, and won’t have any external devices connected. Fire TV UI leaves a lot to be desired, but again, for a budget TV it’s justifiable and functions at an adequate speed. At this price point, any rival Samsung or LG would be archaically slow and difficult to navigate. Whereas this Hisense is quite speedy and responsive. Picture quality is much better than expected, and I’m almost certain the panel gets brighter than the advertised 600 nits. Stick to WiFi if your signal quality is good enough. Fire TV UI takes some time for initial setup but it’s a breeze once everything is installed and logged in.

Great TV for the price
Almost gave this a 4 for the Fire OS but I knew that going in and there is nothing the TV could do to get around that any better than it does. You have to be connected to the Internet to get the sound bar and some other peripherals connected but then you can disconnect and blacklist in in your router and it works fine. Great delivery - they come in and unbox and verify it is working which is handy for a huge tv. Guide still works a bit flaky disconnected as it has to load program info while you are on a channel group but that is expected. Sound and video options are great and it can push every sound setup I have sent through it.

Decent HDR once I figured out the issues, but otherwise a mediocre tv.
Video was not quite what I expected. sRGB was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Out of the box settings for HDR looked horrible. It was not the full 10bit per color. It was 8 bit per color at best with lots of banding between different colors and it made some color areas oversaturated with geat loss of detail. The solution was buried quit deep in the picture menu. It was HDR Enhancement. This restored 10 bit per color for HDR. Once I enabled that & ran windows HDR Calibration & set the saturation to maximum, it looked very close to what I see on my oled monitors, which is very good. Note this is true only if you are sitting directly in front with only about 15 degrees of leeway to either side. Otherwise, the image starts wo look washed out. The remote control works well. I did not test the wifi connection as I had intended this to be connected through a computer on an HDMI connection. Hdmi 1 quit working after a driver update to my computers video card though. HDMI 2 still works though on the same exact settings. HDMI 1 refused to work no matter which port I used on the video card. Nor did it work on my computers on board CPU based video processor. It worked well initially. The menu was easy to navigate to the HDMI port selection from the home screen, which was a good thing as it does not remember the setting upon being turned off then back on
