Chop chop
These are a great throwing ax for the price. They are not perfect but you are paying less than $20 so enjoy them. I bought 12 of these for a kids weapons camp and we had a great time teaching them the art of throwing. They held up great considering the abuse we gave them.We did have one break but with a simple call and emailed photo to the seller the replaced it free. I spend a lot of time throwing knives, tomahawks, etc. Breakage is to be expected but these held up nice and would buy them again.

Make Sure This is What You Really Want
I was looking for a compact product as a light-weight carry item for hiking. That's what this is. I liked it because it was full tang, which ought to eliminate replacing handles and messing about with loose heads and such as with conventional hatchets. However, I have found it to be a little too short and light-weight to do any serious cutting. Furthermore, on the first day of use one of the handle screws, aka: "Chicago Screw," (the screws that hold the handle on) went missing and the remaining post was already loose. I think that had I possibly anticipated this, I would have removed both of them and reassembled using some "loctite" on the threads. This may have been enough to prevent their loosening and loss but I think the real issue is the that the barrel of the post is too short, 5/16", and should be 3/8". Unfortunately, to buy that one part would likely require buying multiple amounts of them at a cost roughly equivalent to nearly half the tomahawk itself (search Amazon for: 3/8'' Chicago Screw). In short, the item is cool looking and lives up to it's promise of being small and light-weight but, unfortunately, is not engineered or assembled well for practical use.
