We used the Insta360 X5 on our recent holiday trip from the UK to Austria on a BMW GSA R1200, and it absolutely blew us away. The footage is stunning—super smooth, ultra-clear, and immersive. It captured every twist of the alpine roads and every scenic overlook with jaw-dropping clarity. The tech behind this camera is seriously impressive. It handled different lighting conditions like a pro and made editing a breeze with the app. Best of all, it's incredibly easy to use—even while out on the road. Battery life held up well, and the compact design made mounting and carrying hassle-free. If you're into motorbike travel and want to relive your adventures in epic detail, this camera is worth every penny.

The Insta 360 X5 took a bit of working out, and I still have not fully mastered it, but the quality of the videos is brilliant!! The windows app is not as brilliant, but there are alternatives out there

Update: After contacting Insta360, they said there was nothing they can do and to return it to Amazon for a refund. Just waiting for insta360 to get back to me. The camera keeps recording in weird colours. The app keeps crashing when trying to export videos. The charger doesn't always sit good in the charging port and falls out. When putting the charger in it feels like something is off centre so takes 2 or 3 attempts to get it plugged in.

Ich habe mir das Insta360 X5 "Auf Geht's-Bundle" gegönnt, weil ich endlich Content erstellen wollte, der sich von der Masse abhebt. Um es kurz zu machen: Ich bin absolut begeistert, und das Ding ist jeden Cent wert. Low-Light-Performance (Der Wahnsinn!) Das war meine größte Sorge, da 360°-Kameras früher bei Dämmerung oft "kriselig" wurden. Aber die X5 hat mich hier völlig überrascht. Selbst bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen liefert der neue Sensor unglaublich klare und brauchbare Aufnahmen. Das ist ein gewaltiger Unterschied zu allem, was ich bisher gesehen habe. Bedienung & Software Man muss ehrlich sein: Dies ist keine "Draufdrücken-und-Fertig"-Kamera im klassischen Sinne. Man filmt erst alles (360 Grad eben) und entscheidet danach in der App oder am PC, was man eigentlich zeigen will. Ja, man muss sich erst einmal in die Möglichkeiten und die Software einarbeiten. Die Funktionen sind endlos. Aber: Sobald man den Dreh raus hat, ist das Ergebnis einfach nur erstaunlich. Man bekommt Perspektiven hin, die aussehen wie aus einem Videospiel oder einer Drohne – der berühmte "Invisible Selfie Stick" leistet hier ganze Arbeit.

A pesar de tener mis dudas sobre el sobrecalentamiento de la X4 y otras camaras, me decidi a comprar el paquete Get-Set con la Insta360 X5. El cual Incluye, adicional a la camara, el palo selfie stick invisible y el protector de lente de silicon. Y si, la camara suele sobrecalentarse despues de un tiempo prolongado de uso grabando en 8K en condiciones de temperatura mayores a los 35°C. Pero esto puede variar de acuerdo a otras condiciones. Esto es normal derivado de alto procesamiento de imagen. Sin embargo en 5.7k puedes grabar por horas. Esta nueva version es la camara definitiva... Calidad inigualable; con una resolución máxima de 8K a 30 fps y 5.7K a 60 fps, ofrece una calidad de imagen impresionante. Sus sensores más grandes (1/1.28") permiten una entrada de luz mayor. Entre sus funciones destacadas, la X5 incorpora el modo PureVideo, que optimiza la grabación nocturna para obtener imágenes más nítidas y detalladas. También cuenta con control por voz y gestos, lo que facilita su uso en situaciones dinámicas. Además, sus lentes son reemplazables por el usuario, lo que añade durabilidad y versatilidad. La batería de 2400 mAh proporciona hasta 3.08 horas de uso, superando a muchas cámaras de acción en el mercado. Su estabilización avanzada y el efecto de palo de selfie invisible hacen que las tomas sean fluidas y profesionales. Si buscas una cámara 360 con calidad de imagen sobresaliente y funciones innovadoras, esta es la mejor opcion.

Todo perfecto, rápido y seguro

J'ai acheté l'Insta360 X5 et, après plusieurs utilisations, voici mon avis. Globalement, j'ai beaucoup aimé cette caméra. La qualité des vidéos et les couleurs sont tout simplement exceptionnelles. Cependant, j'ai rencontré quelques soucis : il y a des déformations sur les vidéos et des traits horizontaux apparaissent au début ou à la fin des enregistrements. J'ai changé deux fois de carte mémoire en optant pour des marques reconnues, mais le problème persiste. Finalement, j'ai décidé de retourner le produit. Malgré ce souci, je laisse 5 étoiles car le reste des performances est impressionnant. Pour ma prochaine caméra d'action, j'hésite entre la DJI Action 5 et l'Insta360 Ace pro 2 .
