5 Feet Fly-Bye Wide Spikes 100% Stainless Steel! No Plastic Parts.

This is a great product. I purchased the 5 foot package; five, one foot sections. All metal and a good stainless alloy being it is not ferrous to a magnet check, meaning it won’t rust.Each one foot section is pre-punched for fasteners if you’re using screws or nails. Each section is very flexible and you can easily bend it to a half circle if needed. It can be twisted easily to conform to uneven surfaces.Sunlight will make any plastic fail, eventually. I plan on using stainless steel zip ties to attach it to a security lamp that the birds have used regularly for a nesting platform, making a mess with their droppings and the like on the side of the house.

I glued these strips to the top of a horizontal section of downspout using silicone caulk. Most birds seemed to be deterred by the spikes, but one persistent robin built a nest between the spikes. I removed the nest prior to any eggs, and it didn't return.

These spikes come as advertised. 5 segments of 1' each gives flexibility in installation. The small holes in the base allowed simple screw-in into wood base.

These are my favorite bird spikes. They fit together nicely and are very spikey. They are a little pricey so I've also mixed in some plastic ones, but these are my favorite. And they are ALL stainless steel, NO plastic parts. I know the plastic ones are going to dry out and crack. These are great bird spikes.

These bird spikes are worth the extra cost over ones made with plastic bases. These will last for years with their all metal construction. They have solved my problem with flickers destroying my eaves. I used screws to attach them (they have holes for fasteners). I only wish they came in a longer length.

Purchased these to prevent roosting pigeons from making a mess on the doorstep. Easy to install, haven't seen the birds since. Done Deal.

I installed these spikes at the peak of the roof covering our porch where the builder left an opening above the support beam. These were very difficult to install due to the tight quarters (I should have used adhesive like the other reviewer) but have kept the birds away for over a year now.
