All-Weather USB Charging Cover for X5 Action Camera

Snap off the original door and this one pops right it. It bumps out from the camera but wasn't visible in the footage, the chord was a little. This cover also has a door on it that closes to make it it somewhat water resistant, ok to use in the rain. I had issues with my USB cable, the case around the USB plug was too thick to make contact with the camera so be aware if you're using this for a timelapse and want to plug in a power pack. Overall happy with it.

It fits perfectly! Easy to install and allows me to be connected to power even with the cage installed. Seems to be of good quality and durable. Time and usage will determine that though.

I bought this charging cover for my Insta360 X5, and it's one of the most useful accessories I've added. The factory cover works fine for normal use, but if you're recording for long periods, having to stop and swap batteries can be frustrating. This charging cover lets me connect an external USB power source so I can keep recording well beyond the life of the internal battery. It's much more convenient than repeatedly removing the factory cover, and it makes long rides, events, and extended recording sessions much easier. The fit is solid, and I haven't had any issues using it while connected to a charging cable. If you regularly record long videos with your Insta360 X5, this accessory is well worth picking up. It makes continuous recording much more practical and is far more convenient than relying on the factory battery cover.

Good idea but the rubber plug will sometimes work its way open. This defeats the purpose a bit.

Works perfect, used it in the rain on my motorcycle, so far so good

So far it works great. Direct fit. Used it during a rain storm but haven’t actually put the device into water.

Its better than the original but thats not saying much... I feel like Insta360 basically came up with what they should have designed in the first place considering their own accessories and charged extra for it.

Works great and still water proof when charger or not charging.

I bought the all-weather USB charging cover because I wanted to charge my Insta360 X5 without exposing it to the elements. Or put another way, I wanted electricity and waterproofing to coexist peacefully for once. At first glance, it's not exactly the most exciting accessory. It's a charging cover. Nobody posts glamorous photos of their charging cover. And yet, after using it, I can't imagine not having it. The fit is perfect, installation is simple, and it provides that reassuring feeling that the camera is still protected even when connected to external power. Suddenly long recordings, road trips, and extended filming sessions become much less stressful. My favourite part is the peace of mind. Without it, every raindrop starts a conversation in your head. "Will it be fine?" "Probably." "Do you want to risk it?" "Not really." With the cover fitted, that conversation largely disappears. It's one of those accessories that quietly solves a problem before it becomes a problem. I've used enough electronics to know that weather forecasts are often best described as optimistic suggestions. Having extra protection while charging outdoors is never a bad thing. The only downside is that it's difficult to explain to non-camera people why you're excited about a charging cover. "What did you buy?" "A weatherproof USB charging cover." "..." "It's really useful." "..." "Trust me." Highly recommended. It's not flashy, it won't improve your filming skills, and nobody will notice it's there. But it does its job perfectly and adds a layer of protection that you'll appreciate every time the weather looks questionable. Five stars. It's the camera accessory equivalent of carrying an umbrella and then being pleased you never had to use it.

Petit accessoire bien pratique.

Functionality is good, Quality is well Big Problem is that when cable not in use the rubber seal tends to get out and leave opening. So major flaw for sealing during rain. Durability seems to be well Size is perfect fit Easy to install Value for money 5/10 But what other option do you have?? it's the only one available. :)
