**Update 11/2/25 After reaching out to the company they are sending me a replacement at no cost! So due to that I am giving them the rating I believe they deserve for taking care of their customers.** I bought this monitor and camera set 6 months ago based on the good reviews. This is a fairly pricy set and today my monitor totally crashed. It just had a software update about a week ago. Now without WiFi it’s totally useless. I am very upset and of course the return window is already over. I recommend this set to all 5 of my sisters in law 3 of which are looking for a good monitor set. I will be telling them not to bother and I hope this review helps others as well. I am really upset about this happening because before this I really loved this setup.

I scoured the market for a baby monitor for my twins. I could not find a monitor with two cameras, wi-Fi capability and good reviews. I finally decided to just go for a wide, angled single camera and saw this had good reviews so we bought it. Honestly, there’s really no downfall to this camera. We have loved it and it has been perfect for us. The clarity is good enough for what we need. It has night vision and you can zoom in on each baby. We love the feature for sound detection. Our babies were very noisy sleeper so we would turn the volume off and just have the sound detection on so that we wouldn’t hear every single noise and we could get a little bit of sleep I love being able to check in if I’m not home or if I don’t have the monitor right in front of me, the app is easy to use. If I had to give it down fall, probably the only thing I don’t like is that the app does not record for longer than a few seconds and you it refreshes after several captures so you can’t go too far back and you can’t save anything .

We tried 3 of these. The first was returned because monitor would not connect to the app via wifi. Once attempted the monitor would not connect back to either of the two cameras and was useless. We reset everything, talked to VTech help desk (not much help and simply said to reset it which we tried) best they could do is split the cost of a new one. 2nd one - monitor was dropped by a child - our bad. Did not break but quit working. 3rd was dropped by adult onto a bed mattress and again the monitor went blank. Repair shop said all was working as it should electronically but could not solve blank monitor. Repair shop saw no sign of damage. This time we had purchased the Asurion (<sp?) insurance. They simply sent us an Amazon gift card for the purchase price. DO NOT RECOMMEND and we WILL NOT BUY AGAIN. Used the gift card to buy another camera. Unfortunately we can not find a baby monitor that would support 2 or 3 cameras direct and have wifi option as well.

So far this has worked great. Straight out of the box, plugged in camera and monitor and they synced automatically. I haven’t installed the app on my phone yet so I speak to that. Also to early to speak of the battery life, but as long as you have both units are plugged in this shouldn’t be a problem. Picture quality is good, the camera is PTZ ( pan, tilt, zoom) and the audio quality is great. I bought this for elderly care so I don’t really care about the music option it has. I hope the app works well on my phone, even without knowing that I’m rating it a five star. This is probably the best baby/elderly monitor out at this time.

Overall we love this baby camera and would definitely recommend it. We’ve used it daily for naps and overnight monitoring. The setup was very simple and the guide walked us through everything clearly. The video quality is great and the security feature is something we really appreciate. Each app user has to be approved by scanning from the parent monitor, which adds extra peace of mind. It’s also great for travel. There aren’t a lot of pieces to pack, and the parent monitor works without needing WiFi thanks to the offline connection option. Initially the parent monitor battery lasted most of the day if the always-on display was turned off and the screen only woke for motion or sound. However, after about 6 months it stopped holding a charge and now has to stay plugged in. My only other minor note is the built-in music. It works fine, but the tones are a bit higher pitched than I prefer, so I tend to use my own music instead.

We have two of these and they're great. The first one is about 3.5 years old and the second almost 2 years old. Both are working fantastic still. I love all of the settings including the motion detection and temperature notification. You can set it so if the babies room gets too hot or to cold it will alert you. The option to connect with our phones is also a great feature. If we are gone and are missing the kids we can just check in on them when we want. You can control everything from your phone, or the monitor itself. The battery life for the monitors does decrease after a while, but with the option to use our phones that doesn't bother us much. The picture quality and sound quality are awesome. I also like to be able to talk to them from my phone or monitor. If I'm away and I see them getting ready for bed I can talk to them and tell them goodnight.

It does his job well with both sound and audio, though it's not exactly Hollywood quality, it does help when trying to do chores while the baby is sleeping

Tem várias funcionalidades interessantes como músicas, avisa em caso de mudanças de temperaturas, possibilidade de falar, maior ou menor sensibilidade a barulhos e movimentos. Me parece muito boa e funcional. Precisa estar conectada a tomada tanto a câmera quanto o monitor e a vantagem é ser bivolt. Apesar de o conector de tomada ser da Inglaterra facilmente consegui ligar com um adaptador universal. Espero continuar gostando.

Works as expected with one missing feature.. the camera unit always has to be plugged in with charger .. and doesn’t have a battery backup so cannot be placed anywhere.

I should have listened to the other reviews. The camera doesn’t connect to the wifi network and connection to the monitor is shaky. In the first week of use, the monitor lost connection with the camera and we had to restart the camera to get it back working properly. I can’t believe this is an Amazon’s choice product. It’s a great concept but a real peace of junk.

We bought this a year ago for £69. It’s now more than double!! I would not recommend this product even for £69, the picture quality/quality of the screen has completely deteriorated, the sound is okay but the connection to either the monitor or the app is very hit and miss, and only deteriorates over time as the aerial slowly breaks
