Simple and Easy to Use
The Roku Streaming Stick HD is a great little streaming device. Setup was quick and straightforward, and the interface is easy to navigate even if you’re not very familiar with streaming devices. The included voice remote makes it convenient to search for shows and movies without having to type everything out. Streaming quality has been good, and I haven’t had any major issues with it. I also like how small the stick is since it can stay behind the TV without taking up any space. Overall, this is a simple and affordable way to add streaming to a TV. It’s easy to set up, easy to use, and does exactly what I need it to do.

Cheers to Roku!
I’ve had a great experience with Roku. The setup was simple, the interface is easy to navigate, and streaming is smooth and reliable. I appreciate having access to so many apps and channels in one place without complicated menus or unnecessary clutter. The device performs consistently, loads content quickly, and makes it easy to find what I want to watch. Overall, Roku provides excellent value and a user-friendly streaming experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a straightforward and dependable streaming device.

Great option if you don’t have a smart tv
I am using this on a non-smart tv, and so far, it’s been great! Very easy to setup, and easy to login to each streaming platform. The remote is on the smaller side, so could be easy to lose, but like the layout of buttons. Overall, performance is great, if you have a decent internet connection. You can also listen to the tv through a Bluetooth device - have not tried that out yet. The layout is very customizable, having your most used streaming platforms easily available is nice.

Its such a great bargain for everything it does offer for free.
The Roku stick and remote are a wonderful invention. It paired up to my dad’s 42” HDTV very easily. Setup was fast and simple. For me, it’s user friendly, but it’s for my 90 year old father and he is still confused on how to navigate and understand how all the apps work. He doesn’t understand why he can’t watch YouTube for free, bc he always watched it for free before the cable tv was d/c’d where the cable service provided a bunch of free apps to watch with his cable tv subscription. He also isn’t grasping that he can watch Roku’s free local tv lineup through the Roku app for Free Local Tv Channels. Honestly, idk how many free apps come included with this item but I can attest there are ALOT and that’s a really great feature, albeit, in order to watch the YouTube app that’s conveniently already included, u have to subscribe to it at the cost of $84.99/per month and that’s just for the YouTube app. Lots of apps are already downloaded which is great, but if it’s not free and a subscription is required to watch it there is an icon of a red lock located on the upper left side of the app on the apps lineup page. Personally, I love it. Myself, I find it very easy to use bc im used to using all kinds of.computer software. I do wish, hint hint to the Roku developers, that the remote control was longer bc it’s very small. It’s small probably bc it’s so easy for regular ppl to use. It’s just a basic small remote and that’s it. What did, jic my dad loses the remote in his bedsheets or if it falls in the floor out of his reach, bc it’s small, I got a 1 gallon ziplock bag, hole punched a hole at the the top of the bag, and tied a long long long peice of yarn to the baggie. Keep the little remote inside the bag when not using it. Then, untied the other end if the string to the corner of his head post. That way when he needs his remote or if he can’t find it, all he has to do grab the yarn tied to the headboard and fish it out from wherever it’s hiding. He loves that. He said it has simplified something that used to drive him crazy, lol. Finally I was able to get myv90 year old father to get rid of cable tv where he was paying $140/per month just for the cable tv basic too 120 channels plus two Filipino channels charged at $10 each ($20 total) per month. He just watched his 2 subscription Filipino channels and one news channel. He also had the triple bundle which included landline 📞 for $75/per month and a promotional rate for internet for $40/per month. After all the tax and service fee goiging add on’s, his monthly telephone/cable/internet ran $250 per month which is ridiculous, and when his internet promotion run out in 6 more months, his monthly bill will jump up to approx $290/per month for a 90 year old man! Now, without the cable tv service, his bill for internet $40/month, and Idky it is but his phone bill drops from $75/month to only $20/month. From $290/per month down to just $60/per month plus taxes is unbelievable. Granted, the internet part raises up $40 per month in 6 more months to its normal rate after the promo runs out. I just bought one 2 weeks ago when it was on sale for just $17.99. I lied it so much I ordered another one for my special needs nephew, but it costed $24.20 yesterday, but that’s okay bc that’s cheap! Usually it costs a whole $20 just for a universal or replacement remote control. Btw, my nephew easily set up his new Roku stick by himself and loves how easy it is to watch all his new Roku apps and channels. It such a great bargain for everything it does offer for free.

Twice as Happy!
I was surprised how easy it is to install, use and add apps. I wish I had gotten it sooner. I bought a second one because it made my TV viewing so easy.

One of My Better Purchases, With One Disappointment
The Roku Streaming Stick HD has honestly been one of my better investments for streaming. It was very easy to set up and use, and I really like having all of my streaming subscriptions centralized in one place. Instead of switching between different devices or trying to find where everything is, I can easily access Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and my other streaming apps directly through Roku. The interface is straightforward, and the voice remote is another feature I really like. Navigating between apps and finding something to watch is simple, even if you aren’t very tech savvy. For such a small device, it has made streaming much more convenient. My only disappointment is AirPlay. One of the main reasons I purchased the Roku was because I was told I would be able to AirPlay from my iPhone. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get that feature to work, despite trying to connect it. That was a pretty important feature for me, so it is frustrating that I haven’t been able to use it. Other than the AirPlay issue, I’ve been very happy with the Roku Streaming Stick HD. It’s affordable, easy to use, and does a great job of bringing all of my streaming services together in one place. I would still recommend it, but if AirPlay is one of the main reasons you’re considering it, I would definitely keep that in mind.

An upgrade to any TV you thought you had no use for anymore.
I was pleasantly surprised at how simple this Was to set up and how powerful and fast it seems to be as a processor I highly recommend this streaming stick and I'm about ready to cut the cords! The most surprising thing was how much is available outside of what I pay for on spectrum There are so many streaming services available and simply the Roku Live Channels give me more than enough to fill the nonsense time I waste on TV anyways. Local news is easy to find especially if you're in the greater LA basin go to KTLA or depending on your political leanings whatever that means ABC NBC fox whatever All have streaming platforms that are available for free to indoctrinate you into their world. The funny thing is I only bought this because I had an extra TV in the spare bedroom and wanted something the master bedroom as basically noise to drown out the neighbors in the evenings when we try to go to bed early and that TV was made in 2016 so it wouldn't run any of the new apps So I bought the Roku Stick to bridge that gap now I'm ready to add that to my brand new Samsung in the living room and ditch the cable box.

Compatible with Old TVs
I am beyond impressed with this thing. The remote is able to seamlessly control the volume and power of my almost 20 year old TV (2008 Samsung), which I didn't expect. Setup was super fast, and it's definitely a step up from watching YouTube on my PS4, which would constantly buffer and lose connection. The remote is nice too, I really like pressing the buttons. Very clicky and satisfying.

Does what it says on the tin but don’t confuse it
Bought it to cast from an Android tablet which it does well however I discovered it does poor multitasking. I started one tv app, then thought to try another and by the time I tried the fourth I noticed performance issues akin to buffering. When I restarted the Roku one app (tv channel) played fine. Perhaps I could have made changes in the settings, not sure as I put it into a drawer and decided to use a far more expensive chromcast device on my non smart tv. I would have returned the Roku if someone hadn’t thrashed the box.
