## Questions & Answers

**Q: Could this be used in a drawer that is going to be left closed for a while? Or does it have to be hanging to work properly?**
A: Yes, it needs to be vertie to work properly. Search and there is a small version that will sit flat in a drawer. I bought them to put in my vehicles to keep moisture content down. They really do work

**Q: Breakage of hanging bags. Does it happen often? How safe are they?**
A: The bag can get too full and burst if banged against. Hang where nothing will interfere with it. Did stain some bed sheets.

**Q: Can this be used in a car? I know it says not to be used in moving vehicle but I don’t see why it caned be used.**
A: DampRid Hanging Moisture Absorbers are not designed for use in a moving vehicle because the impact from sudden stops may cause the bag to fall, which may cause the calcium chloride liquid to spill. We recommend using one of our disposable moisture absorbers under one of the seats if you are trying to prevent or eliminate moisture or use our Odor Genie to eliminate odors. If you need additional information, please contact our DampRid helpline at 1-888-326-7743.

**Q: Would this be something I could use in a pet room to help with the odor?**
A: DampRid will work great for helping control pet odor over time. It should be placed so that the crystals or the liquid will not be accessible to the pets. DampRid’s crystals absorb excess moisture in the air to create and maintain the optimal humidity level wherever moisture is a problem. Please contact our DampRid helpline at 1-800-398-3892 if you would like more details or if there is anything we can do to assist you.
