Since then i have just replaced all my regular chapstick-type stuff with this for daily use and have not seen another one despite an unusually intense time since then, which would normally see at least one flare up. I bought a second box of 3 so that I have one at home, in my bag, at work, and in my jacket pocket. The flavour is mild and it makes a decent lip moisturizer. Sometimes it feels really slick on my lips, I don't know why that is but it's not uncomfortable or annoying so I'm fine with it, especially as it works. I usually get cold sores at least once a year in the winter but this year I had sores three times in a row and I was at the end of my rope. I didn't get these until my last one was nearly gone but I haven't had ANY coldsores since I started using DocoShield! And I've been sick with a cold, stressed about school, moving, and global events etc. and even through all that I haven't felt even a tingle! The three pack is great, I have one in my purse, one in my bathroom, and one in my bedroom. I don't bother using other lip balms any more. It's moisturizing, feels nice and smooth, and smells lightly of strawberries? I didn't see any fragrance advertised and honestly expected it to smell medicinal but it's quite pleasant and not strong or artificial.
