It’s a Chinese product… hurts ear … not good at all

I purchased these boAt Airdopes from Amazon, expecting a new and properly functioning product. Unfortunately, the product delivered to me was defective—one of the earbuds is not working at all.When I contacted Amazon for a replacement, I was informed that Amazon cannot replace the product and that I have to personally visit a boAt service centre to get the defective product checked/replaced. This is extremely disappointing because I purchased the product through Amazon, and I expected Amazon to take responsibility for delivering a defective product.Instead of providing a convenient replacement, I am being asked to visit a service centre and deal with the manufacturer myself. I was also made to understand that I should have checked the applicable policies before purchasing.As a customer, this experience has seriously affected my trust in buying anything from Amazon.My suggestion to new buyers: If possible, consider purchasing such products from a physical boAt store or another authorised physical retailer, where you can verify the product is working before leaving the store.Very disappointed with both the defective delivery and the replacement experience.

Sound quality and structure appearance is nice. But whenever it connects to the phone it starts at full volume so manually have to reduce the volume from phone. Good mic quality and value for money
