Product Description               Lactofree Mild Cheddar Cheese. It is ensured that Lactofree cheese contains no lactose, using accurate accredited tests, enabling to detect lactose at a trace level of 0.03%. At this level the tests show that there is no lactose present in Lactofree. Melted on toast, sliced on crackers, grated on jackets - it's all good. What's not so good is lactose, a sugar that's found in cow's milk that can cause stomach cramps, bloating and all manner of nasty side effects. Some cheeses are low in lactose, but Lactofree is tested so you can be confident it is lactose free.
