Last fall, I started using this product last fall to fill in bare spots and also to replant in two 30sf areas I used to have raised beds on. I actually ripped the bag on accident and some of this product fell out onto the ground. I picked up what I could and spread it where I wanted it in the first place and everywhere this product was used grew nice new grass, very lush looking. This spring, the grass made it through a very mild winter and looks great. I purchased more of this and laid it down a week ago. Germinates within a week. Does not not sprout and die. Once it germinates it just keeps growing. Excellent for dead spots ..sun, or shade or mix it WILL grow. Will not back tolerates heat well IF you keep your grass at lest 1.5 inches. Height promotes root growth. Deep roots helps grass survive dry season. My lot is about 1/3 acre so I NEVER water. Live in central Illinois. Always have dry summer and grass goes dormant and looks like its about to die. First rain brings it back to life. GOT BARE SPOTS? BUY THIS!
